3 Ways to Use Your PPP Recipe Card Binder!
By now you've probably spotted our newest PPP baby – our gorgeous (if I do say so myself!) Recipe Card Binder! This is the best way to organize recipes.
These binders are perfectly designed to protect and organize all of your favorite Passionate Penny Pincher recipe cards with room to store family recipe cards as well. We've thought of all the things – page protectors, divided tabs, kitchen conversions, and more.
Now it's time to answer a question some of our loyal readers have asked –Â how should I use my binder?Â
Each recipe card binder comes with 54 dual pocket sleeves and can hold up to 104 recipe cards. The possibilities are endless – so, here are THREE of our favorite ways you can use your binders.
P.S. If you have another way you've been using your binders since they launched, share in the comments below!
Method #1 – One Box = One Binder
If you love pulling from a specific box in order but want to be able to flip through the recipe cards a bit easier, transfer one box to a binder! Each binder has 12 weekly divided tabs specifically designed to match the tabs in your recipe box.
Then, grab one of the included labels for each recipe box and insert in the gold label holder on the spine of the binder. Easily identify which binder corresponds with which box and store on your counter, bookshelf, or in a cabinet!
Note – one binder even holds the entire Freezer Menu AND Freezer Expansion pack! Woohoo!
Method #2 – Monthly Meal Plan Calendar
It has NEVER been easier to organize your entire month's menu plan than it is now!
Your recipe card binder and monthly calendar printable are a match made in Heaven. The monthly calendar takes out any guesswork of planning dinner for the upcoming month – making it easier to shop, plan, and eat!
The calendar comes directly to your email about a week before the month starts and uses usually 2-3 boxes (pairing a main course with a side suggestion).
Grab the recipes from the boxes and add the cards in order to your recipe binder and you are totally set for the month!
Method #3 – Family Favorites
If you have more than a few of our menu planning boxes (and goodness are we so thankful you do!) your family has likely found a few favorites over the years! Use one binder to collect your most-used, favorite recipes to easily grab from and get cookin'.
The divider tabs are double sided so you can create your own categories. Maybe you separate favorites by the box they come in, protein type, rank the favorites – there are so many ideas!
This is also a great spot to use your blank recipe cards to record your own recipes that haven't come from Passionate Penny Pincher.
Grab your PPP Recipe Binder to keep all of your recipe cards safe (plus it's absolutely GORGEOUS to have in your kitchen!)Â
