This fruit salad with honey lime dressing is the perfect side dish to have with any meal, and can even double as dessert. The zesty dressing makes all the difference!

Zesty Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing

If you have a cookout coming up and are looking for something tasty to bring along, give this Zesty Fruit Salad a try!  The dressing truly makes the dish, and it’s so fresh and flavorful.

At first glance, it just looks like a regular fruit salad, but this gets it’s zestiness (is that even a word?!) from the delicious honey lime dressing.  This will quickly become a family favorite!

Fruit salad ingredients:

  • strawberries
  • blueberries
  • red grapes
  • mandarin orange
  • pineapple
  • banana
  • honey
  • lime zest
  • lime juice

How to make the BEST fruit salad with honey lime dressing:

Grab one of your largest serving bowls and a large mixing bowl, and let’s get this fruit salad started!

Chop and prepare your strawberries, grapes, and bananas and drain your pineapple and oranges.  Add all your fruit to a large mixing bowl.

How to make honey lime dressing for fruit salad:

In a smaller bowl, combine the dressing ingredients (honey, lime zest, and lime juice).  We used 3 tablespoons of honey, a teaspoon of lime zest, and a tablespoon of fresh lime juice. Pour the dressing over the fruit and toss to combine.  Serve immediately.

Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing

Servings: 6 people
Calories: 139kcal

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 lb fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 lb seedless red grapes, halved
  • 15 oz can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 8 oz can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 large banana, sliced

honey lime dressing

  • 3 Tbsps honey
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice

Instructions

  • Add all fruit to a large mixing bowl.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine dressing ingredients.
  • Pour dressing over fruit, and toss to combine. Serve immediately.
  • Note: Fruit can be chopped 1 day ahead (except banana), and dressing can be made and refrigerated. Toss together just before serving.
