How does Upside work?

It's easy peasy! At the pump or store, you’ll pay however you normally do (with a credit or debit card) and cash back will be deposited directly to your Upside account. There’s no limit on how much you can earn – and Upside even works with other coupons, discounts, and loyalty programs!

Here's what you'll need to do:

1. Claim an offer in the app – Open the app and find local offers on everything from gasoline prices to restaurants and everything in between. Then just hit the “Claim” button.

2. Pay as usual – Head to the pump/store and use any credit or debit card to shop as you normally do around town. Upside uses the last 4 digits of your cards from recent purchases to verify your purchase.

3. Check In – Tap “Check In” when you arrive to redeem your offer at a gas station and any other locations that have a Blue Badge. NO need to upload receipt! (If Check In isn’t available, you can also just snap a photo of your receipt and upload it to the app.)

4. Earn cash back! You'll earn cash back for your purchase, and be able to cash out whenever you want via PayPal, e-gift card, or directly into your bank account. WOW!
