Starbucks lovers…here’s a fun perk? Starbucks rewards customers at all participating Starbucks stores across the U.S. and Canada can now use their own clean personal cup when ordering in café, in the drive-thru, or when ordering ahead with the Starbucks app!  Yep – it can be ANY clean cup! 🙂

Even sweeter, whenever you bring your own clean, personal cup, you’ll receive a $0.10 discount on your beverage, and Starbucks Rewards members will receive double bonus stars (valid in the US only).

Here’s how it works:

In café, just tell the barista when you order that you brought your own personal cup and hand over the personal cup to the barista. If you choose to sit and stay in the café, you can also request a reusable ceramic or glass cup at most stores.

In the drive-thru, order their beverage as usual, and let the barista know that you brought their own cup. At the pickup window, baristas will collect your personal cup without the lid using a contactless vessel to ensure hygiene and safety. The beverage will be returned the same way.

How do you use your own cup at Starbucks when you order in the app?

In the Starbucks app, first will hit the “Customization” button and then select “Personal Cup” in the customization menu and continue ordering as normal. When you get to the store, connect with your barista at the pickup area, and hand over your clean personal cup without the lid. The barista will hand the beverage back in a contactless vessel.
