Can someone please remind me next summer that we are not allowed to do any challenges (even a 3 day one!) in the summertime?

Between hauling kids to tennis camp, band camp, VBS and the pool, I ain’t got no time for this. 🙂

But the truth is, whether we want to or not, our homes need a little TLC even in the summertime. 

 

Clearly ~ my pantry was in sore need of a makeover today.

Yikes.

(NOTE: I NEVER-HARDLY-EVER BUY POTATO CHIPS BUT MY SON HAD SOME FRIENDS OVER LAST WEEK AND THEY ALL BROUGHT BAGS OF CHIPS. CLEARLY THEY WENT A LITTLE OVERBOARD ~ MY KIDS ARE IN HEAVEN!!!) 

 

cleaned out my pantry on Facebook Live (because really, is there another way to force yourself to clean out your pantry?)

 

and this cute girl of mine caught up on all the laundry at our house too while I finished typing up this post. 

Bless her.

The kitchen is now all tidied back up,

 

and we’re racing out the door way too late to volunteer at band camp before that cutie heads to gymnastics.

 

But at least my kitchen’s clean, right?

    What kind of stone are your counters and what do you use on them? I tried some commercial cleaner on my granite and a specific granite cleaner and didnt like either plus I don’t like “chemicals” prefer more natural options. Thanks

    Because you cleaned out your pantry today. I did too! Thank you for helping get our stuff in gear. We are having a LAZY Summer this summer to keep costs down we are staying home, and going to friend’s houses to play, and just unstructured play happening a LOT here! We have two weeks before School starts and I am so enjoying the slow and easy mornings!!!

    I am teaching my son how to do laundry, working on how to make a simple lunch, and how to write a personal handwritten letter to his Grandmother. The proper form, and puncuation. He is 8. I hope you have had a great Summer. Are you using up all those freezer meals? where are you at with that? 🙂

    I kept reading this as an edible cleaning chart….probably read it over 5 times. I didn’t understand. But finally noticed it said editable, lol!!!
