Here are some price comparisons on household items at Sam's Club and Costco! To add to the mix, we thought it would be fun to compare some items to Amazon prices. Surprisingly it looks like Amazon is cheaper on several items ~ Laurie and I were both shocked while doing the price comparisons to see how the prices added up.

In addition, Costco notoriously treats its employees very well (high starting salaries, benefits, etc.) whereas Walmart notoriously treats them very badly (even though wages have been raised, hours have often been cut). And Costco is twice as profitable, which exposes Walmart’s corporate whining for what it is.

On the wipes, isn’t 0.3 cents a wipe less than 1.9 cents a wipe? So isn’t Amazon the most expensive?
We’re starting to rethink our Sam’s membership. For $45 a year membership fees when the nearest one is over half an hour away via interstate, it just isn’t convenient enough. I really miss the weekly price round up you guys used to do on paper products!
Hey Jaime! We still do the weekly rounds ups just changed the name of them! I publish them every Friday at 4 pm (Paper) and Saturday at 5 AM (Laundry)! I have not figured out how to use the Amazon Subscribe and save yet:( If you clip the coupon will it take that off every month? And the Prime Pantry what is that is it the sane or different as Subscribe and Save?
Maybe I’m lazy but the fact that I have a small car and I hate carrying heavy objects up my long sidewalk I love when the guy delivers my items from amazon on my front porch and I don’t have to carry large and heavy items.

Hey Wille! I put shipped on the prices that included shipping. If it is Amazon Prime Pantry there is a flat $5.99 fee for shipping. Hope that helps.
When you were doing the price comparison between Costco, Sam’s Club and Amazon, did you include the tax? Amazon does not charge tax on most items so that makes them even cheaper if sales taxes were not factored in.

Actually there was a federal lawsuit, and Amazon HAS to charge state sales taxes in all states that have them. It’s figured in at check out appropriately for each state.
