The changes are inspired by the newly reopened Grapevine, Texas location—a cutting-edge club rebuilt after a 2022 tornado. This store has become the model for Sam’s Club’s digital transformation and is setting the tone for what’s ahead.

As Sam’s Club President & CEO shared on LinkedIn: “We plan to double membership over the next 8–10 years—and with it, more than double our sales and profit. This starts with investing in our physical footprint, redefining the future of the club model, and setting a new standard for retail. Additionally, we will remodel all 600 clubs as a strategic growth investment, with Grapevine setting the standard.”

1. Frictionless, Register-Free Shopping.

I will not do this, I do not use self checkout and have tried scan and go, did not like it. I like human interactions and will cancel membership if this happens.
Will not be easy for alot of members! I will not use a self checkout any where and this will send me somewhere else. Plus it is doing away with jobs. Mass confusion for alot of people. NOT A GOOD MOVE SAM’S CLUB
