How much does soda usually cost?
If you can score a great deal on soda you will want to make sure to stock up. A target sale price on the main brands of soda (Pepsi and Coke), 12 pk is under $3.50. If you ever see Coke or Pepsi 12 packs for $3 that is a stock up price. 🙂
How much is Coke or Pepsi at Sam’s Club, Costco, or Walmart?
MOST of the time, buying in bulk at a big box store will be cheaper – however, soda regularly goes on sale at grocery stores and drug stores – often making THAT the best place to buy. But if you are curious, here are the current prices at big box stores:

What does wyb mean?
So sorry for the confusion. It’s a term that’s been used in the couponing world, it seems like, forever! It stands for “when you buy”. Also, if you ever see “wys”, it means “when you spend”. That one isn’t used as much. Hope that helps! 🙂
Quick question only caused I noticed this in past weeks, for the DG deal for 3/14/26 for Pepsi products…you mentioned a $1/3 coupon in the list of deals all week at different stores but yet I didn’t see it mentioned in your deal scenario for 3/14 only…since the $5/25 Q is off anything and your total is $32 wyb 6, wouldn’t both coupons apply making your OOP less then $27? And if so, would the $1/3 Q come off for both sets of 3 (twice) or only once? Hope that makes sense. Thank you so much! Your posts help so much!
The $1.00/3 can only be used once, and most Dollar General stores won’t let you use the $1.00/3 coupon with a $5/$25 Dollar General coupon (they have wording on them that they can not be used with any other DG coupon). We try to list the most conservative situation so that it applies to the most people. Hope that helps! 🙂

Why dont you have Winn Dixie in your findings. They have pepsi products 6 packs bottles 16 oz for 5 for $15. This week and i always find that includes the Dr Pepper as well…

I don’t if it’s a typo or not, but for August 2nd at Dollar General the price comes out to $4.17 each when you buy 6, not $3.17.
When I read it the 3.17 price is ONLY for mountain dew, I think the rest are 4.17.
Careful: Dollar General prices are not valid in all states. In Nebraska, Coke products are 7.65 tomorrow. Deal definitely not as good.

Food Lion grocery stores in the South have all Coke products at 3 for $12.00 for 6 pack and this is pretty often…….our Walmart has their 6 pack of Coke for $5.28.

Could you explain how to get the Amazon Coke deal you mentioned that’s $3/12 pack? I clipped the $2 credit but don’t see how to get the price down to $3.

Today, 3/20/25, you have multiple deals listed with a 3/$15 deal, which puts each item at $5. However, you have other higher varying amounts listed as “or ______ each”. I think something went wrong, 😉

I’m assuming this article gets updated weekly since the date of it is January 23, 2025. Walmart went back up to $5.18 (I think that’s the exact price). I know I always look for the best deal on bottled coke. The 16.9 fl oz cokes changed to $5.18 right after Thanksgiving.

Where are you seeing that Walgreens has 4 for $14 for Pepsi and Dr Pepper? I only see 3 for $20 for Dr Pepper and 4 for $20 for Pepsi on the Walgreens website.

Yeah those are the only deals I’m seeing as well.
Walmart has a 12 pack of 16 ounce bottles for $5.72 which is equivalent to $4.29 per 12 pack of 12 ounce cans.
Not a great deal, but compared to what is a deal these days, it actually works out to be the most reliable deal for soda, and you can buy them by the dozen because walmart has such high stock.

I went to Walmart for the 12oz 12 pack at 5.67, but it was 7.26!
Stater Bros. Has an ad that says December 6th-dec 12, Pepsi 12 packs/12oz, and when I went in to purchase oh, anout 21 packs, the scum bags had it listed in their ad’s side bars as being $4.49/ea., but beginning Dec. 9th. Stater Brothers has really gone down hill since the late 90s. They use to be my only store for about 50 years. I use to live that site. Now, I go to Winco in Norco, where their prices are even better than Walmart!! Tonight is the last time I will ever step foot in this store for duping customers. Shame on them. They are no longer my ‘neighborhood,’ store. My immediate neighbors feel the same c and will make a point of never coming in here, especially after I spread the word!! –for They’re just as high as Ralph’s, Vons, Albertsons and convenience stores like Circle K. Shame on you, Stater Bros.

Jo there is a Dollar General coupon for $2 off 3 12-Packs – but I would wait until Saturday to do the deal because on Saturdays you can ALSO use a $5 of $25 Dollar General coupon! You may want to download their app, as it’s much easier to navigate 🙂

Just bought the coke from Walgreens and bought tp too. I went ahead and got the Scott’s 1000 sheet per roll pack (gamble for softness) for $.0007/sheet! My buy price is $.001/ sheet so this was great even if we use more
We have been getting the Diet Pepsi 8 pack bottles for 2.50 for quite awhile now at our Fareway store. All Pepsi products are that price. We have stocked up. Walmart doesnt put theirs on sale nor do they price match anymore. So we keep going where its the cheapest and alot of their other food is cheap also.
Love any Diet coke that is economical.
