Ingredients needed
- Fresh peaches
- Honey or Maple Syrup
- Vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon
- Ground cloves
- Ground nutmeg
- Salt
- Heavy cream
How To Make Roasted Peaches
Start by preheating your oven to 350°. Cut three large, ripe peaches into halves and remove the pits. Place the peaches into a baking dish that is just big enough to fit all six halves without a lot of extra room. Place the peach halves cut-side up in the dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey (or pure maple syrup), vanilla, and spices. I absolutely love how this mix smells! Spoon the mixture over top of the peaches, making sure to coat each one.
Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until peaches are golden and tender.
While the peaches are baking, you'll make your homemade honey whipped cream. You can absolutely use store-bought whipped cream for this if it's what you have on hand, but I really recommend going big and making your own for this! It will taste so much fresher and avoid added sugars.
Place the mixing bowl and beater attachments from your stand or hand mixer in the freezer for ten minutes. This helps the whipped cream set without getting runny.
Remove from freezer and add heavy cream, 1 tablespoon honey, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat on medium for about 1 minute to incorporate until the mixture is fluffy.
Then, turn the mixer to high and beat until stiff peaks begin to form and mixture is no liquid remains.
Top each peach with about 1/3 cup whipped cream. Serve peaches warm with the cold whipped cream and enjoy!
