I was super excited about what I scored last night at Kroger, until Shannon let me know that the Kellogg’s deal starting tomorrow at Kroger is a much better deal! We were almost out of cereal though, so at least I saved a bit (and have one more coupon to use on the upcoming ad.) Our store also had pork chops and pork roasts on sale Buy One Get One Free, so I had to stock up! Here’s what I bought:

Bought 2 Flipz Pretzels $1.25

Bought 3 Frosted Flakes $2.99

Bought 1 Cocoa Krispies $2.49

Bought 1 gallon milk $3.09

Bought 2 packs Boneless Pork Chops $5-$6, on sale Buy One Get One Free

Bought 2 packs Boneless Pork Roast $12-$13 each, on sale Buy One Get One Free

  • Used (2) $1/1 Flipz coupons (recent printable, no longer available)
  • Used $1/3 Kellogg’s coupon
  • Used Buy 4 Kellogg’s cereals get free gallon milk coupon from the 9/14 Red Plum insert (regional coupon)
  • Paid $27.99, submitted for $1 Ibotta milk rebate (could also submit for $1 Snap rebate, but I’ve already used that one)

I’m not sure if the pork is on sale Buy One Get One Free in all Kroger regions, but I was thrilled to stock up. I’m planning to switch out our menu plan for the weekend to make these Grilled Pork Chops (they’re so good!), and  you can’t beat a great sale to frugally feed your family. After picking up fresh produce, chicken and beef yesterday at Fresh Thyme, our pantry and fridge are well-stocked.

Have you saved big while shopping this week? I’d love to hear about it! Be sure to also check out all the Kroger deals this week HERE before you shop.
