I made a quick trip today to the new Fresh Thyme Market that just opened in our area (so excited because it’s about ten minutes closer than the one I was shopping at is), and goodness I love that store! If you have a Fresh Thyme Market or Sprouts in your area, it’s definitely worth taking a minute to check out their store ad and stocking up on their fresh produce and meat each week. Here’s what I bought:

  • 3 lemons 3/$1
  • celery $.99
  • organic carrots $1.50 (non-organic were $.99)
  • 3 lbs. chuck roast $3.33/lb $9.99
  • 3 lb red apple $2.50
  • 3 lb green apples $2.50
  • 5 lb potatoes $.49 (WOW!)
  • 3 lbs bananas $.44/lb $1.32
  • 3 lbs onions $.99
  • Total = $21.28 – $10 of which was meat!

I just got home after running to Aldi as well (details on that tomorrow -I stocked up on $.25 loaves of bread – woohoo!) Dumped the roast and veggies in Mrs. Potts quickly, and now hunting down a few more deals. 🙂

Take a peek at the Fresh Thyme or Sprouts local ads, and let me know if you’ve found any other great deals when you’ve shopped!
