These have a wide stretchy waistband that is SO COMFORTABLE YOU GUYS – they might be the most comfortable jeans I own right now! I got a 10 Short – but probably could've sized down to an 8.. The have a good amount of stretch and are just the right length for my short 5'4″ self!

PPP Team Member Misty and her daughter McKenzie tried out these LC Conrad Trouser Jeans and loved them – Misty got the black for herself and gave the blue to her daughter. She said they're a nice heavy-weight jean with just the right amount of stretch and they look like a more expensive brand. These are a perfect choice if you are embracing the more flared silhouette and are tall enough to pull it off! (These don't come in a short option) If you are short and have no torso (Raising my hand here) – you may want to move along to one of our other recommendations 🙂
Sizes are very limited, but these are on major clearance!

If you prefer a skinny fit – these SONOMA Goods for Life jeans are a staple in my closet – you can choose from several colors (this is Linden, Size 10 Short) and I like the light distressing, but there are options without it too! I have them in a few colors now and they're just a comfortable go-to jean with a modern fit!
Last time, I ordered the Wyatt Destructed rinse (no longer available in this rinse) because they looked so cute on the model…. and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!
These SONOMA Supersoft Stretch Midrise Skinny Jeans are FANTASTIC. Here's why:
- They have great stretch but the denim is substantial and not thin.
- The midrise waist is perfect – no gapping in the waistband when sitting – but you don't have to hike your shirttail up to your ribs to do a front tuck.
- The rinse and the distress feel fresh and modern.
- The ankles have cute little distressing on them too (You just can't see it because I'm a tiny bit too short for these and they bunch at my feet).
I recommend sizing up if you're in between sizes – I ordered a 6 and an 8 because I wasn't sure, but I honestly could maybe go for a 10 because these are snuuuug.
They also run a teensy bit long – I'm 5'4″ and the ankle detail is a little lost because they bunch up at the very bottom a bit. I would've ordered a short but they didn't have that available in the rinse I wanted

Has anyone ever done a review of Carly Jean Los Angeles or Judy Blue jeans? Love to know your team’s thoughts. I am 50+ , 5’2”, big thighs/derrière with a flatter stomach and smallish waist. My shape usually fits Lee or Gloria Vanderbilt “Amanda” style size 14 short.
Katelyn Jones says
Hi Suzanne, I don’t think we have, but we will definitely keep that in mind for the future! Thank you for letting us know.
Keena Moses says
Judy Blues have a tremendous amount of stretch so you would normally size down once for a fit comparable to dept. store brands. The issue will be finding some with a short enough inseam. They do have several crop/ankle styles this fall that might would fit like a full-length jean on you! Just read reviews and return policies before ordering. Once you find your size/style/fit, I think you’ll agree they are the most comfy, worn jeans in your wardrobe!

Thank you so much for sharing, Bridgett! I too have mobility issues and need a comfy pull on jean. You rock em girl!!
Bridgett - PPP Team says
Thank you so much! It’s so hard to find something cute and stylist but also easy to get on. Let us know if you try these! 🙂
Glenda says
Do they make a Sonoma high waist without the flare leg ?

Confused on green jeans Jamie is wearing with big flat front pockets. Where is the link to those?
Cindy says
Hi! Don’t know if you found them, but click on the link then just type “green flare jeans” in the search. They come up there along with ALL the sizes. For some reason, the link only contains limited size and color options. Hope you see this and it helps!
