How much is an Instacart Shopper Pay – What kind of money can you actually make?Â
Instacart shoppers can make anywhere between $10 and $17 an hour on average. This is not a bad pay at all if you're looking for extra work. Also, pay is quick – you get paid weekly which is HUGE for someone who's looking to make some fast cash!
Hours Are Flexible, Vacation When You Want
Of course, one of the great things about Instacart is that you can decide whether or not to take each job. You'll have the chance to preview an order, find out how far it is away from your house and decide. Yes, I want that order! Or – nope, I'd rather not drive all the way over there right now. It really truly does allow you flexibility in your job.
Hours are Great!
On one of the BIGGEST perks that I read in many Instacart shopper reviews is the way the hours were super flexible. Choosing your hours at Instacart is easy – you can pick what time of day works for you and shop at your convenience. As a shopper, you can schedule a delivery any time from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., up to 7 days a week. shop in your spare time, evenings, or take on a full 40-hour schedule. (This may change based on location due to COVID-19 – please see your local stores for updated times). The choice is yours.
Keeping You Safe
Instacart has implemented several safety parameters for their shoppers due to the recent virus. People ordering their groceries have the choice to choose “leave at door” delivery, meaning that shoppers do not have to enter the persons home and can leave the groceries on the porch (or where specified). They're also providing Health & Safety kits for each shopper so that you can maintain your safety while at the stores as well as providing bonuses to shoppers working during this time.
NOTE: You must be 18 years or older, have a car manufactured in 1997 or later, valid car insurance and a valid driver’s license. You must also have an insulated cooler bag, a good knowledge of groceries, ability to lift 40+ pounds, an iPhone (iOS 10 or newer) or Android (5.1 or newer.) You must be authorized to work in the USA and are subject to a background check.
