I noticed you mentioned a $1.25/2 for the Dole Pineapples but I’m looking at mine right now and they say Del Monte Pineapple not Dole. Where did you find the one for Dole?
Dina says
Nevermind further down you do say Del Monte

Question. I went to publix last night and I had coupons for 6 bags of Mahatma rice. I had 6 coupons. We eat this rice at least twice a week and I was getting the small spanish or saffron bags, so I don’t think that is excessive. I also tried to buy the B2G1 Nestle bars and use that B2G1 coupon plus two $0.35 off one coupons. The B2G1 wouldn’t scan, so the cashier called over the Customer Service Mgr. She explained to me that their new coupon policy only allowed one of each kind of coupon so for the Nestle, even though I bought 3 bars, I could only use one coupon. And on the rice even though I bought six, I could only use one coupon. This is because it says “one per purchase”. I explained to her that each item was a “purchase” and the coupon only meant that you cannot use multiple coupons on a single item. As long as you are using only one coupon per item, you are fine. We discussed it at length and she continued to say that corporate was telling her one coupon only, no matter how many items you buy. She was very nice, and said she would allow it that time, but not again. I told her I certainly didn’t want anyone getting into trouble because of me, but I really do feel this is incorrect. Is there a corporate number I can call and get their interpretation? Is there any way to get the correct info communicated to the store? Anyone else hearing this at their Publix?
Thanks,
Ashley 🙂

Wow – I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t take them, especially the rice coupons? I could maybe see where they wouldn’t take the Nestle, but they’ll get reimbursement on those from the manufacturer (the same with the rice?) I think I’d ask to maybe (nicely!) talk to the store manager . . . unfortunately Publix really doesn’t supposedly have a corporate policy (well, except for what they added recently), so I’m not sure that you could go higher up than that. I also might try shopping a different store in your area, it sounds to me like everything you used should have been fine, and it may just be that your store is having issues with misuse of coupons. I hate that! (Please let me know what happens!)

I would get the name and number for the District Manager and discuss it with him/her. They will have direct contact with the store manager and you will probably get the issue resolved quicker.
Laurie says
That’s a great idea Kelly – I really can’t imagine they’d have issues with those!

Laurie, I noticed you got several frosted flakes. Did they have the promo for the gas card also? I went to Hwy 20, they had a lot of promo boxes, and purchased 3 deals on the nutri-grain and 3 deals on the kellogs cereal (apple jacks/fruit loops), so I was able to get 3 gas cards. Just wondering if the frosted flakes qualified.
Laurie says
Hi Denise! They didn’t have any Cars boxes in that size (I think there were Corn Pops & the Froot Loops had them!) These had a chance at winning a gift card in the box, but I haven’t had a chance to open them to check yet (I’m pretty sure I didn’t win . . .) I wish I could have found the Frosted Flakes too!
Kelly says
Is the Kellogg’s Nutri Grain printable on Target a manufacture coupon or a Target store coupon? I don’t want to print it if it is a man. Q. Thanks!
Denise says
It is a target.
Laurie says
Yes – it was a Target – thanks Denise!
