General Mills Cereals + Ziploc = The Brand Partnership You’ve Been WAITING On!

General Mills Cereal + Ziploc = Perfection!

If you’ve gone to open your cereal and found that it’s stale, I am SURE you’ve thought that there must be a better way…. and now there is!

General Mills and Ziploc JUST announced a partnership.  Original Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios will now include a ziploc pantry seal – no more stale cereal!

These new resealable bags will be available exclusively at Walmart starting on October 27, 2026. The bags also feature a pour spout.  Right now, there are only plans to include Honey Nut and Original Cheerios, but it would be great if this would expand to all flavors of cereal in the future!   This technology will be rolled out to other retailers in the coming months.

What do you think – will this entice you to buy more cereal if it’s easier to keep fresh??
