MENU TIP: This garlic & butter steak recipe is from our 5 ingredient menu planning made easy set!
Ingredients needed for garlic & butter steak:
- boneless sirloin steak
- olive oil
- fresh rosemary
- salt and pepper
How to make garlic & butter steak:
First, stir 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 4 cloves of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of chopped rosemary together in a small bowl.
Give your steak a good rub down with the olive oil mixture. Then season the steak all over with some salt and pepper.
Go ahead and preheat a large cast-iron skillet or a grill pan over medium-high heat. If you don't have a cast-iron skillet just try to get your skillet pretty hot.
Place the steak in the hot skillet, and cook 6-8 minutes per side or until it's done the way you like your steak.
Be sure to let the steak hang out and rest about 10 minutes before slicing. This will keep all the juices inside so it will be moist. 🙂
Now for the buttery goodness. Mash together 1/2 cup of butter, 2 tablespoons of the chopped rosemary, 2 cloves minced garlic and a pinch of pepper in a small bowl. Serve dollops of the garlic butter over the steak. This will melt into garlicky, buttery yumminess!
