I LOVE these boots – they were my favorite splurge I've ever made and I think they're 100% worth it. They pair great with jeans, leggings, dresses, skirts – and makes everything feel just a little more stylish. I feel like one of the cool kids when I wear them!
I got these Frye Boots on sale a couple years ago for about this same price. It's probably my biggest splurge on myself EVER.
I bought them after working super hard to lose weight (I lost 57 lbs back in 2019). And suddenly for the first time in a long, long time I didn't have to shop for wide-calf boots.  It was like a reminder to myself that I really did it!
These Frye Melissa Button Boots have riding boot style with a little bit of cowgirl flare. They have just the right amount of heel to give you a little lift.  I also wanted my boots to have a little character. You know…. something that looked like I've been riding horses around Pemberley with Mr. Darcy for a few years. These fit the bill!
These are the perfect EVERYTHING. And beyond that they're extremely comfortable. Like, walk around all day long and not trigger my plantar fasciitis to act up comfortable.
The ONLY DRAWBACK – is that they are not for the thick-of-calf. Mine are snug on my calves (just right – but no extra give at all) so make sure you read the calf measurements and check your own before ordering.
