Two things — I am seeing $2.50 in savings on a $3 item so 50 cents, not free? What am I missing?
And to @Sherry Burton, paying tax on free items (when they are free) varies from state to state and sometimes even store to store, but it isn’t unusual to still owe something (tax) when an item is free.
So – free – but you pay tax right?
