I kept seeing this EBY bralette recommended on Instagram and I finally decided to give it a try. I've been picking up cheapo bras for many years and I decided I was going to buy myself a GROWN UP bra this time just for ME. It's supposedly the most comfortable, supportive, smooth, non-underwire bra you can get – and all that sounded LIKE HEAVEN to this DD girl.
My 3 big problems with bras are:
- Uni-boobs (With sports bras it can happen within the HOUR)
- Spillover (to where you can see through a clingy shirt that there is a double lump)
- Side and Back Pudge
Pros:
NO UNIBOOB. It's comfortable like a sports bra (I even slept in mine) but UNLIKE all my sports bras it's got great lift and separation. After wearing this bra for three consecutive days – I still had NO UNI-BOOB. (WHAT??!!) The lift and separation DOES. NOT. QUIT. I was inspecting the construction like a weirdo the other day trying to figure out how – and the best I can figure is they sewed in some kind of magic panel that makes sure Left stays on the left, Right stays on the right, and never the twain shall meet!
It's smoothing and invisible under clingy shirts. You know the kind of shirt that kind of shows off every bump that your bra makes and every lump that shouldn't be there? This bra stays HIDDEN under those
Its breathable – the back is made of some kind of mesh so it's great if you're working out or get hot easily!
They don't slip or move. The edges are flocked with a velvety fabric so it doesn't slip.
My favorite feature though is the adjustable straps. What was already a soft, smooth flesh colored sports bra got better when I remembered I could adjust the straps to give me more lift. That made a world of difference!
Cons:
I prefer the option to be able to clasp my bras instead of pull over my head. However – I guess that's part of the seamlessness thing 🤷♀️
Also, mine was a bit tight the first time I wore it, but I think I maybe should've sized up (I went MDD but possibly should've gone LDD?) The following day though I didn't notice it being tight anymore.

I purchased two during the last sale and I’ll be sending the second one back. It is a decent bra, but I must have a complicated size. I’ve tried on more than 100 bras in the last year and have not found the right one yet I was really hopeful! I love the adjustable straps, because all straps fall off my shoulders, these do not. I am typically a 34 triple D. I get the uniboob with this bra. I’m constantly having to shift the boobs into place. It’s a good stay at home bra… it is comfortable. I’m sure it’s great for young perky boobs, but 51 year old menopausal after nursing two kid boobs – not so much. The other thing is the pads DO NOT stay in place and constantly fold over. So I think it’s a great bra for the right person, but not for me 🙁

Thanks for your review! I’ve had problems with the uniboob and these types of bras in the past! I require a larger size and in the lovely menopausal phase as well.
The Only Bra sounds amazing. Does it come in white?? I’d like to get 1 white & 1 black. I had a lumpectomy to remove breast cancer in February then completed radiation therapy about 4 weeks ago. I’m still tender and sore, including my ribs so I haven’t even tried an underwire again. I don’t want to continue with sports bras, I’m ready to stop with uniboob.

I want to try this bra but when I click in the link it only shows the thin shoulder straps. I want the one like Jamie is holding up…with the thicker straps. Does it just automatically go to the thicker straps when you order the larger sizes?
Hi Dana!! If you choose the bigger cup sizes you will automatically get the bigger straps – yes! I have one that’s a Large (the peach one) and one that’s a MDD (the brown one). The DD sizes automatically have the wide straps which I love too. Hope that helps! 🙂

Would these fit a plus size? I usually wear a 46 DD or 3X
So sorry, Laurie! But this particular bra goes up to a size XLDD (40 DD – 40 DDD). They may have other bras that can go up to a 46 DD. They offer a variety of different cuts, fits, styles and sizes. While these bras are comfy, the problem is they don’t have stock! So, you refer us to this amazing bra and they barely have any stock or it takes forever to receive it. Don’t get me wrong, they are so comfy, but until they can resolve their stock issues, it’s a no for me.

I would love to try this bra but I do not like the over the head bras. Wish they made one with a clasp opening.

You avoid this by stepping into the bra (or any lingerie), not pulling over your head. Works perfectly.

I just got the bra today. It took over a month to get but I think it will be a favorite. It fits very comfortably. Supportive , and comfortable. Worth the wait
The bra did not work well for me. I am a size 36B and 6-8 in clothing. I did not find the bra supportive enough, the pads folded and moved while putting the bra on, the band was not wide enough for my liking in a pullover bra, I had some spillage when moving around, also I prefer a wider strap in a pullover bra. Furthermore, I felt like I had more “mono-boob” going on with this bra than my sports bras which are more supportive and comfortable. I donated the bra to my teenage daughter and she seems to like it well enough. As for me I’ll stick to my sports bras unless I need something less clunky and then wear one of my tried and true underwires.

I keep having fall out/under probs. Yes out the bottom of the bra what on earth??
I understand you Joanna – I have NOT fallen out or under while wearing this one – but I do in other sports bra types! I think it will help if you make sure to get your size and NOT size up when ordering – that way you know that bottom band will be plenty snug and not let anything slide 😉 I’m between a medium/large around my ribcage but I ordered the Medium DD so it would NOT have room to fall out (I hope you understand what I’m saying there). Anyway – that’s worked well for me although it felt a bit snug when trying on for the first time.

Is your bra even the same as the one linked to online? It’s not the same straps or shape?
Hi Suzie! I have the Seamless Bralette in Nude – I promise you it’s the same one! My straps seem wider but I think that’s a common thing with bras – where the larger sizes come with larger straps (The model seems to be a small size) The shape doesn’t look quite the same as I hold it up because well – gravity – but I guarantee you it is!! Also the one on the website that first comes up is a different color scheme which might throw you off – but just choose the nude option. Hope that helps!

Hi Glenda! These run snug. That might be a good thing in your mind (keeps you all tucked in) or you might hate snug. If you’re worried about it being a bit tight I would go up a size – but luckily they have a size guarantee that should make it easy to exchange if needed!
Glenda – if you don’t want it to be snug I might recommend sizing up. If you don’t mind snug and want everything firmly in it’s place – then you should size down. They also have a sizing guarantee!
