Easter Bunny Gift Bags
Looking for a fun, budget-friendly craft to bring some Easter joy to your gatherings? These Easter bunny bags are not only adorable, but they’re also cheap and easy to make. Not to mention, you probably already have these supplies around your house! Whether you’re hosting a class party, surprising a neighbor, or gifting something sweet to a teacher, these little bags are the perfect touch. Let’s hop to it and get crafting!
Supplies:
- Brown Paper Bags
- Ribbon
- Pom Poms
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Glue
- To get started, draw “bunny ears” about midway to the top of your brown paper bags. Don’t stress about them being perfect!
2. Carefully cut through both layers of the bag along the lines you just drew to create the bunny ears.
3. Here’s where you can get creative! Fill your bunny bag with fun surprises. We added paper shred and candy filled eggs.
Some other ideas you can include might be: gift cards and pens for a teacher gift, a homemade treat for your neighbors, or spring goodies for your kids like chalk and bubbles!
4. Next, tie a thick fabric ribbon around the bottom of the two “ears” into a bow. After tying, you might have to tug on the ears out a little bit to get them in the right bunny shape.
5. On the back of the bag, (opposite the bow) glue a pom pom for the “bunny's tail”
Now you have the cutest little gift bag in the shape of a bunny! You can even draw a happy bunny face to the front of the bag if you want to add a little charm.
Whether you’re hosting an Easter gathering or spreading spring cheer to friends and family, these bunny gift bags are the perfect homemade touch! And if you’re craving even more simple, creative Easter crafts, be sure to check out these other fun ideas we have on the blog!
