It looks like another great week at Rite Aid! Here's my favorite drug store deal starting tomorrow (11/7/10) . . .
Note – This deal will easily work for those of you in the areas with the long ad, but I noticed when I went today the Nivea and Halls were not included in the short ad. If your ad doesn't include it (go HERE to see if you find the Nivea on page 6 of the ad), print that page of the ad and some stores will honor the deal. I found the longer ad under area code 90210.
Buy . . .
- (1) Crest Scope Outlast Toothpaste $2.99 Receive $2.99 in Up Rewards towards next purchase
- (1) Nivea Body Wash $3.99 Receive $1 in Up Rewards towards next purchase
- (1) Crest Pro Health Clinical Gum Protection Toothpaste $3.48 Receive $2 in Up Rewards towards next purchase
- (2) Halls Cough Drops $3 for 2 Receive $1 in Up Rewards towards next purchase
- (1) Pampers $8.99 Receive $1 in Up Rewards towards next purchase
Use . . .
- (1) $4/$20 Rite Aid Video Values Coupon When you watch Rite Aid Videos, you can also try the $5/$25 coupon HERE but I'm not sure it's still printing (you may want to check your coupon box for it if you printed it already!)
- (2) $1/1 Crest Toothpaste 10/31/2010 P&G Insert (exp 11/30/2010) or $0.75/1 Crest Toothpaste 10/10/2010 P&G Insert (exp 11/30/2010) Can also stack with $1/1 Crest Pro-Health Toothpaste Rite Aid Clip + Save Booklet if you have it!
- (1)$3/1 Nivea For Men Body Wash 10/17/2010 RP Insert (exp 11/30/2010) or $3/1 Nivea for Men Active 3 Body Wash (IE) Printable (FF) no longer printing
- (1) $1/2 Halls Drops 11/7/2010 SS Insert (exp 1/1/2011) or $1/2 Halls Cough Drops 10/10/2010 SS Insert (exp 11/6/2010)
- (1) $0.50/1 Halls Rite Aid Video Values
- (1) $1/1 Pampers Diapers or Training Pants 10/31/2010 P&G Insert (exp 11/30/2010) or $1/1 Pampers Diapers P&G Because of You Mailer (exp 11/30/2010)
Pay $11.95 out of pocket, receive $8.99 in UP Rewards on your next purchase!!!! That's like getting a pack of diapers, two tubes of toothpaste, a body wash, and two packages of cough drops for just $2.96 . . .WOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Update – If you're lucky enough to have the $5/$25 coupon and need filler, you could buy an additional Nivea for $3.99 and use another $3/1 coupon. I'm not sure that two UP Rewards would print though (I think they'll only print one per purchase), so you would be out an additional $.99 BUT you would be saving an extra dollar because of the $5 off $25 coupon. Hope that makes sense, thanks April for the tip!

What do you do if you go to Rite Aid with your deal scenario, and they are out of stock on an item. Any options that I’m not aware of?
Laurie says
I would definitely ask for a raincheck. Typically the drug stores (at least CVS & Walgreens) will write a raincheck for the deal AND the Extra Care Buck or Register Reward, so I’m betting they would do the same on the UP rewards at Rite Aid. Let me know if they do!
Stacy says
So I had this deal work great for me. I got every item you listed, but my total came to $10.96. Then I checked my rewards and I got a total of $8.50 back. Not sure what the difference was, but I’m lovin it!!
Laurie says
Yaayyyyyy for you Stacy! (I love it when it works!) 🙂
Stacy says
Can’t wait to give this a try. Did well at CVS this week, and now I’m off to Walgreens and Rite Aid!!
Megan says
I did this yesterday, and it worked great! Thanks so much! I used the $5 off a $25 purchase coupon and bought two of the men’s Nivea body washes. I got an UP reward for each bodywash! I also got a $2.50 UP reward for the Crest Pro Health Clinical Gum Protection toothpaste (instead of a $2 UP as mentioned above), so my total UP rewards back were $9.49!
Laurie says
Yaaaayyyy Magen! (I really wondered if the UP Reward would print on two – thanks so much for letting me know!) Great job 🙂
Heidi says
Wow! What a great deal and it worked for me! This was my first time shopping at rite aid so I was nervous and couldn’t believe when she told me my total! Thanks so much for sharing this.

OK so I’m a bit of a newbie to Rite Aid as well. Let’s say I did this deal and earned the what is it $8 in UP rewards. Could I then go to another Rite Aid do the same deal again assuming I have all these coupons and pay with the UP reward I just got?
Laurie says
Hi Chelle! That is a great question! To me it looks like you should be able to “roll” your UP Rewards, but when I was looking at different forums it looks like many people are not getting the up on the second transaction on certain items. The worst case scenario is, you use your UPs to re-purchase everything, then pay a few dollars out of pocket, and don’t get any new UP Rewards. (But if that happens I would ask your cashier about it – and I have had Up rewards print for me on multiple transactions like that in the past – it’s just no guarantee!)
You can always return the items if they don’t print the rewards also (but I know it’s a hassle!) Hope that helps!
Laurie says
Ughhh! You ladies are right – I typed wrong – it’s $4/$20 BEFORE coupons (I’m so sorry Sally!) And the $5/$25 did print for me today (my printer was out of toner but when we refilled it today it printed right out!)
So sorry for the confusion Sally – I hope you got the right info before you headed to Rite Aid!
Bonnie says
Just to clarify for Sally, since she is new to this, your total BEFORE coupons has to be $20, not after.
Katie says
Sally – the $4/$20 is before coupons. The trick is to make sure you give them the $4 coupon BEFORE you give them any of your other coupons. With the drug stores, the order of coupons is key. 🙂
The $5/$25 coupon printed for me today, but only through internet explorer. I tried through Google Chrome (which is my default browser) and it said it wasn’t available. On a hunch, I tried IE and it printed!
Also, my Rite Aid actually lets me use the total value coupons (like the $5/$25) as long as the total including tax is over the coupon value. I know not every Rite Aid does, but it might be something to try–just have a back up plan. 🙂
Marci says
Actually, the $4/$20 is BEFORE coupons. They take that off first at my Rite Aid, and then the other coupons! 🙂
Sally says
Thanks for this deal! Wow! This is my first time using UP or the $4/$20 coupon, and I am very excited to give it a try! I do have a question- how often can you earn the $4/$20 coupons by watching the videos? and is the $20 total before coupons, or does it have to be $20 after coupons?
Laurie says
Hi Sally! The $4/$20 is AFTER coupons (YAAYYYY!), and you earn the credit when you watch several Rite Aid Videos (follow the link above). I’ve found the best way to watch those videos is to grab a load of laundry and do a little folding while I watch! 🙂Sorry for messing that up Sally – it is BEFORE coupons!
Stacy says
Love this scenario!! Always up for cheap pampers!!
Elena says
Newbie to the whole “Rite-Aid” game, this deal sounds really good…
April says
If you printed out 2 nieva bodywash you could fet 2 and use the 5 off 25.00.
Laurie says
Great idea April! I’ll add that 🙂
Lisa says
Thanks Laurie, Still trying to learn all of this so wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing anything:)
Lisa says
Thanks for posting this great deal. I don’t think they will take the $5 off $25 coupon as stated since the total comes to $22.45 before tax….????
Laurie says
Yes – you would have to use some fillers to add up to the $25 total if you use the $5/$25 🙂
Sinead says
Thanks! I’ll check this out! I believe I have already printed most of those printables anyway!
Julie says
I’ve seen differing posts on the Nivea bodywash +UP. Most have said $1+UP, I hope it is $2 that would make it a money maker with the $3 coupons.
Laurie says
Hey Julie! ARGHHHH! I think you’re right about it being a $1 UP Reward – that’s what I get for trying to come up with scenarios in the middle of the night 🙂 I updated the prices – thanks for catching that!
