We're in between tornado warnings right now, so I'm posting this as quickly as I can and we'll see how many more recipes and deals I get posted today.  (It's nuts around here!)  We made these yesterday to share with a local prison ministry, and my little family was pretty disappointed not to keep them all to themselves . . . as if the Easter candy in our home isn't enough sugar in one week!  Everything needed for the recipe was right in our pantry, and I'm betting most of you can find these ingredients in your cupboards too. 🙂
Chocolate-Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies

- Enjoy!
One of the best cake mix/cookie combination is to use Lemon Cake mix and 1 cup of vanilla chips. YUM and perfect for summer. We’ve also made these with spice cake mix and cinnamon chips for Thanksgiving!
That sounds soooooo good Katie – thanks for sharing!
Made these tonight for the kids and we just loved them…thanks so much for posting!!!!
I hope everything is ok. I just watched footage of the tornados on the news and its horrific!

Hi Molly! I just tried and it worked from here – let know if it still doesn’t work for you!
Love this recipe! It works with any cake mix – my family particularly loves using funfetti cake mix! You can substitute 1/3 c oil for the butter, if needed.
Great idea Randi! I think I’ve made them with the yellow mix before, but not the funfetti!
Randi – I volunteer on Fridays at my son’s high school and two weeks ago, one of the students that helps out during her study hall told me about this exact recipe using funfetti and the oil! She was super excited to share it and even told me to add white chocolate chips. She said that they are always a big hit. I have been wanting to try them, and even bought the funfetti/confetti mix last week.
Laurie – This young lady couldn’t remember the exact baking time, so I was super excited to see you post this recipe! I can’t wait to try it! I’ll have to admit, the funfetti seems fun, but my son is a huge chocolate lover, so I may have to try that flavor first!
Thanks, ladies. I appreciate you sharing the recipes! They sound yummy! Mmmmmmmm…:)
