Dollar Tree Jars DIY: Simple Easter Centerpiece

Do you feel like you just need to hang out today with folks who feel like a little bit of sunshine?

Me. too.

This was from a bit ago, but goodness reading it over, I’m STILL feeling like this some days. Maybe you are too?

Perhaps because it’s my son’s nineteenth birthday today (CRAZINESS) I’ve been a little on the soft-hearted side lately around here. (This ends “birthday season” at our house when all 3 of our kids age up in six weeks ~ this year that means I have a new driver, a new 19 year old, and a cute fresh new 12 year old who feels like she’s really 29. Ahem.) 

I don’t think it’s made me sad, but maybe just . . . ummmm . . .  aware?  of how quickly each day races by right now.

And, way too rarely these days do I take time to just stop and behave like some sunshine myself. 

Over here at PPP I’ve been in kind of in a whirlwind since 2019 began. There are so many fun things going on behind the scenes that are just around the corner . . . but all of that hustle has worn me down a bit some days.

I’m betting there’s a chance you feel just like me today. Maybe you need to feel like a little sunshine, behave a little happier, and remember that life really can be simply Easter Peeps and fresh flowers on a plain old Friday too.

Even when the hustle and busy-ness are all so very good, they can still feel exhausting every once in awhile. 

If you’re feeling like me, maybe take a few minutes to be just silly and craft  a fun Dollar Tree Jar to make your home happy today too.

(At the very least, snatch up some fresh bright flowers and plunk them down in a Dollar Tree Jar Carafe – they are my favorite thing ever I’ve found at the Dollar Tree!) 

If you have 30 minutes today I encourage you to stop, take a deep breath, and love on your home for just a few minutes today. Pick some fresh branches from your yard, pull out a Spring wreath for your front porch, or light your favorite candle.

Be encouraged that a little happy can go a long way, and maybe become the sunshine for someone else today. Praying a beautiful weekend for you ~ and oodles of sunshine too.
