This is no deal or bargain or anything, just a fun little free computer thing that I love!  You guys know I’m just about the least tech-savvy girl on the planet, so when I learned about sticky notes for your computer, I did a little happy dance!  (It really is the little things that make life fun, isn’t it?) 🙂

If you’re in the dark ages with me and hadn’t heard of them either, just click on the little blue window button in the bottom left-hand corner of your computer screen, and type in “sticky notes”.  If your computer has them they’ll pop right up!  I love having them to keep all my daily to-do’s up on the computer – especially reminders about my kid’s activities, what’s on the schedule each day, a Bible verse or phrase to keep me focused (right now it’s Matthew 11:29), and of course what deals to hunt down for you all!  If you know of any other fun computer tips that I’m probably missing (which would be just about everything), I’d love to hear them!

I located sticky notes but it doesn’t allow me to use the keyboard…only use the mouse to spell things out. What am I doing wrong. I have vista if that makes a difference. This is a cool feature and one I could use it. Thanks for any help.

I’m guessing Laurie has Windows Vista or later and you have Windows XP? It looks like sticky notes isn’t inlcuded with XP, but you can download it. I haven’t downloaded this (the link won’t start the download automatically–it will take you to an article about Sticky Notes and a download page) and thus can’t vouch for whether it is what you might be looking for, but it’s worth a try if you think this application will benefit you!
