Protection from the sun is SO important – but it can be hard to find a hat that protects and looks cute at the same time. But, we found the perfect hat that does both – hooray!

This adorable women’s sun hat from Furtalk is a made of tightly-woven straw with a darling ribbon detail. It’s described as “slightly floppy” and we found that to be true in the best way. My friend, Laura, tested it out. Here’s what she said:

“I have red hair and very fair skin so I’ve been searching for a hat to protect my face and more importantly the top of my head. Since I’m usually outside with my kids, I love that the brim of this hat isn’t so wide that I can’t see well, but still wide enough to shade my face. Plus, the ribbon is such a cute addition! And, it doesn’t get yucky on my forehead when I’m sweating – so that’s a win!”

The hat comes in a few different color combinations for the hat itself and the ribbon. (Laura is wearing the Beige-Beige combo.)

You can choose from sizes Medium-Large or Large-X Large, and the hats come with an adjustable band inside so you can find the right fit for your head.

This cute sun hat also has a chin strap if you’re out on a breezy day or doing an activity like gardening and need to keep a tight fit.

Laura also noted that she folded the brim up to see a little better but will only wear it this way at home since she “looks like Anne of Green Gables”. 🙂
