If you ever found yourself wandering a mall food court in the ‘90s, chances are you were drawn in by the sweet, frothy scent of an Orange Julius stand. While those kiosks are harder to find these days, the good news is: you can recreate that nostalgic, citrusy magic right at home. With just a few simple ingredients and a blender, this Copycat Orange Julius recipe brings the flavor you remember (and love) right back to life.
All you need is a blender and a handful of kitchen staples.
Ingredients:
- 6 oz frozen orange juice concentrate (half a can)
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 10-12 ice cubes
How to make a Copycat Orange Julius
Add all ingredients to a blender. Depending on the size of your ice cubes, you may want more or less. You can always add more as needed!
Blend on high until smooth and frothy! Blending is what creates the froth, so don’t be afraid to let it run for a bit!
Pour into glasses, and serve immediately. Super easy and tasty!
