The Chicken Salad Sandwich was retired from the Chick-fil-A menu in 2017, but we have the recipe!

Copycat Chick-fil-A Chicken Salad Sandwiches
If you loved Chick-fil-A’s chicken salad sandwiches back when they were on the menu, this recipe is going to be a favorite. It has that classic flavor and texture, but it’s made with simple, easy-to-find ingredients you can grab at any grocery store.
We love how this is a budget-friendly option that lets you stretch a few ingredients into several hearty sandwiches, making enough to feed your hungry family for waaay cheaper.
Now I’m just craving the iconic Chick-fil-a lemonade!!
Ingredients:
- 4 breaded chicken filets, diced large (We used the brand “Just Bare,” found in the freezer section of most grocery stores.)
- 1 ½ stalks celery, diced large
- 1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, cooled and peeled
- Sandwich bread of choice
- Lettuce (optional)

How to make Copycat Chick-fil-A Chicken Salad Sandwiches:
Cook your breaded chicken fillets in the air fryer according to package directions. Once cooked, allow them to cool completely before dicing into large pieces.

Add the diced chicken, celery, hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, and sweet pickle relish to a food processor.

Use the pulse function to combine everything until mixed. You don’t want to completely pulverize the chicken, rather, you’re aiming for a chunky chicken salad texture.

Serve the chicken salad on toasted bread with lettuce (optional), and enjoy! We paired ours with chips and a soda.
