I bought 2 of these desks in white marble and I'm so glad I did! They're attractive, well made and sturdy, and I like the kidney shape. I used to use a lap desk that sits directly on my lap which would get my thighs hot. Now I prefer this one because there's air flow between the top of my thighs and the top of the desk. Plus the width of this desk fits perfectly while I'm sitting in my recliner, and it makes using my iPad easier.

This will come in handy working on the sofa while watching TV. It is very sturdy and well made and I can slip it under the sofa when I'm finished using it.

My old lap desk has seen better days and when I saw this one online I liked it. I ordered the black marble one. It is bigger then I thought which is fine, has a sturdy top and I like that it curves in, makes it very comfortable to use. Easy to store when not in use, lays flat so you can slide it under something or between something. Very happy with this purchase.
