Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and possibly inflation (??), the annual Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day has once again been postponed for 2022.
Chick-fil-a Cow Appreciation Day
Sad news folks…
Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day has once again been postponed again for 2022.
Since 2005, Chick-fil-A has always celebrated Cow Appreciation Day on the second Tuesday of July – except when COVID-19 hit and restaurants across the country were forced to cancel this event.
Previously, this day allowed the chain to thank customers for their business by giving them the chance to dress up like Chick-fil-A cows and in turn receive a free entree or meal. The company has not stated why they're cancelling the event again this year, but they promise that “new cow experiences are in store for future years.”
Here's what they said on their website:
“While Cow Appreciation Day continues to be one of our favorite days of the year, the best decision for our restaurant teams is to not hold the in-person event this year. This was a difficult decision, but we look forward to giving our guests delightful cow interactions in future years.”
Hopefully we'll have some fun new, things at Chick-fil-A in the near future?!
