If you’re looking for how to organize your charger cords, here are some great finds to keep everything together!

Charging Cord Organizers

Don’t you feel like you have a gazillion charging cords, all tangled up together, and when you need one you can’t seem to find the one you need?! Us, too! So, the PPP team got to work tracking down the best cord organizers for your home office, junk drawer, and everywhere in between.

(Plus, scroll to the bottom for the BEST, no-cost cord organizing hack using something I know you have around the house )

My friend, Hannah, grabbed these cute cord straps so you can easily wrap up and bundle your cords. This keeps them from getting tangled so you can still utilize whatever space you have available.

I love how cute and colorful these are!

Then, for the cords you keep out like phone chargers, computer cables, etc. these wire organizers are perfect for keeping everything tidy!

And, when you unplug a device, you don’t have to worry about that little cord slipping down behind the desk anymore. YAY!

My friend, Bridgett, is an organizing QUEEN and came up with the absolute best solution to organizing her cords. Not only did she organize each cord, but they’re all labeled so you can find what you need right away. So smart!

Bridgett grabbed these awesome photo boxes (they’re more for just photos) and our team’s favorite label maker for this project!

How to Organize Charger Cords

Bridgett, here! Here’s how I totally made over the hot mess that was our charging cords.

First, I gathered all of my cords from every drawer I could think of and anything that I knew would fit them to be charged. I absolutely cannot believe how many cords we had! And the charging boxes…we had 13 just lying around that weren’t even being used!

First things first, make sure you test all of the cords to make sure they work. No use keeping cords around that should be trashed.

I separated them by cord type and put it in one of the individual photo boxes and labeled what length the cord was.

Since my goal was to declutter and get rid of extras we didn’t need, once the photo box was full, I put the rest of the cords of that size in a donation bin. I was even able to fit a 6-foot extension cord in one of the boxes. (My husband is always looking for one of them!)

My friend, Laura, also grabbed this fun charging cord organizer box. It’s great for organizing just a few of your cords and came with ties to keep them bundled tightly!

Charging Cord Organizing Hack

Looking to organize your cords but stick to a budget? (I’m so glad you are!!) Here’s a quick and absolutely-no-cost option for keeping your cords organized.

Toilet paper rolls!

Collect those empty rolls and store your bundled up cords inside each one. Then, store vertically in a box or tub and you’ve got a budget-friendly, totally organized drawer.

P.S. Organizing your home office (that includes those pesky charging cords!) is one of my favorite tasks in the Home Planner!

One thing I love about our Planner is that it keeps you on track with so many little sometimes forgotten areas of your home. Organizing your office (or desk area) might seem like no big deal, but when it pops up in your to-do list twice a year, I promise you’ll be so happy for a needed refresh!

I did this! I bought my box at Michael’s when it was only $14.99. It is such a great idea 🙂
