Charger Cord Organizer
Bridgett here, I can not wait to show you the solution I came up with to organize your charging cords! If you struggle like me trying to find where your cords are when you need one, then this simple DIY using a photo organizing box is perfect for you!
How to Organize Charger Cords
I gathered all of my cords from every drawer I could think of and anything that I knew would fit them to be charged. I absolutely can not believe how many cords we had! And the charging boxes…we had 13 just lying around that weren’t even being used! First things first, make sure you test all of the cords to make sure they work. No use keeping cords around that should be trashed.
I separated them by cord type and as I made sure they worked I put it in one of the individual photo boxes. I had quite a few Apple cords so I made a few boxes for them and labeled what length the cord was. Once the photo box was full, I put the rest of the cords that size in a donation bin. I was even able to fit a 6ft extension cord in one of the boxes. (My husband is always looking for one of them!)
How to Keep Charger Cords Organized
To keep them organized – I used this label maker so it wouldn't ever get in that state again. It’s so fun and easy to use. I’ll be looking for more projects to use it on!
This is really going to cut down on my over buying of cords when I think we need one and help me know exactly where to go when I need one quick. Plus, the possibilities are endless with what you could organize with these photo boxes. I’m on my way to Michael’s to grab a few more while they are at this crazy, low price!
