My sister sent this idea and I just love it! If you're looking for the best Christmas gift for young families, this might just be it.
(Well, along with a PPP menu plan or two… ) ☺️
Joanna is one of the best gift givers ever (my kids always love their gifts from Aunt Joanna!), and this one is so stinkin' smart!
Genius.
Here are a few things she included:
- Clear Plastic Storage Bins (best EVER!)
- Dawn Dish Soap
- Ziploc Bags
- Swiffer Dusters
- Duracell Batteries
- Mrs. Meyer's Hand Soap
- Laundry Detergent
Do you have any other awesome gift ideas for young adults? Leave a comment to share ~ I love hearing from you!
We’re having cold spell here (mild for other states) and our power goes out often .. made me think of things like flashlights , battery chargers , lanterns and they have plug in night lights that automatically come on when power is out .
Things that people don’t like to purchase but come in handy .
This and made me think about doing the same but filling with Christmas items: stocking holders, wreath door hanger, lights, wrapping paper, tape, etc. ❤️
That is a great idea! 🙂
I have done this for my grown children many times and have always gotten awesome responses from them! My children (29 & 33) LOVE this and request it every year!
Great idea! I usually like to give the adult kids a gift card to Target or Walmat but I don’t like JUST a gift care. This is great!
I try to do some version of this for graduations.
Have a grandchild graduating high school this year. What do you put in your container?
Add toilet paper and paper towel with this as well.
A great gift for someone you know of who may receive food stamps…because those cannot buy paper goods, soap, cleaning supplies. We put laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, fabuloso cleaner, bar soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, air freshener. Etc.
Thanks so much for the great ideas Vickie! 🙂
I do snack towers for my newly adult children. I have them pick 2 drinks, 2 salty, 2 sweet snacks and 2 candies. I go to Sams and try to get large amounts/cases. Also, add in things that they need (laundry detergent and toiletries). I add a large bow on the top and a few lotto tickets to spice it up!!!
I did this for my parents and older children that don’t live at home this year. I put all that stuff in a laundry basket. Thanks to PPP team I was able to get a lot of the things on great sales. I stocked up for the last few months. I made each basket similar, but special to their family needs. I hope they like them and this can be an annual tradition. I love the tote storage. Maybe for next year that is what I will put the goodies in. Thank you PPP team for all you do and Merry Christmas!
