Valentines Hearts on Bedroom Door – SO Simple to do and it means SO MUCH!

I don’t know about your kids, but my kiddos love to be bragged on. They love hearing that they did something amazing, especially cute, or even that they just had a good day, so this super simple Valentine idea is a great way to boost their day this month.  (And it doesn’t cost a dime!)

As I’m betting you’ve figured out, this craft won’t be featured on Martha Stewart anytime soon.  It’s not extra fancy or extra clever – and you can find zillions more way cuter Valentine’s Crafts on Pinterest, but this WAS something I was able to manage the one year as the kids were younger, so I stuck with this one.

For this idea, each day, I would start adding valentines hearts on the bedroom doors of my kiddos.  You can cut out hearts from fabric and write the note on there – or just even use post-it notes.  It’s the words on the note that matter!

Each day through Valentine’s Day keep adding notes until it makes their initial.

If you have any other special things you do for your kids to celebrate Valentine’s, I’d love to hear them!  And I’d really love to hear any frugal ways you plan to surprise your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day . . . take a minute to leave a comment to share your ideas!

Did this years ago for my daughter. Cut hearts out of paper we had and put one word on each. Placed on her bathroom mirror. She loved them so much she moves them when cleaning and they are still there!!
