Curious if it's worth heading to Office Depot or Office Max this week for back to school deals? They actually have some pretty good deals, so if you have a minute swing by and pick up their best deals!

Deal #1 – Sharpie single markers 25¢, regular price $1.25 (EXCELLENT PRICE – compare to $1.74 for 3 pack at Walmart – and so nice because you can choose which colors you want – great for crafting!)
Deal #2 – Scholastic 25 ct crayons 25¢, regular price $1.49 (GOOD PRICE – compare to $.25 for 24 count Crazy Art Crayons at Walmart & Target)
Deal #3 – Slider pencil boxes 25¢, regular price $1 (GOOD PRICE)
Deal #4 – Office Depot brand highlighter $1 5 pack, regular price $4.29 (EXCELLENT PRICE – compare to $1.59-1.74 at Walmart and Target for Sharpie brand, Staples has their 5 pack Bic skinny highlighters on sale for $1 this week)
Deal #5 – Office Depot 4 pack glue sticks 25¢, regular price $1.99 (EXCELLENT PRICE – compare to $1.97-$2.29 at Walmart and Target for 4 count)
Deal #6 – Office Depot brand scissors 25¢ (EXCELLENT PRICE)
Deal #7 – 4 pack Papermate retractable pens $2, regular price $5.29 (GOOD PRICE)
Deal #8 – 5 pack Pentel RSVP Ballpoint Pens $2, regular price $4.49 (GOOD PRICE)
And, in case you're curious, Staples does match the identical item on sale at Office Depot when you show them the ad on your Smartphone. I asked this morning at Staples (when I went to score their great deals), and they did price match for me a few of the best deals that they had. Here's what I bought:

- price matched to Office Depot ad $2 + additional 10% off
- Paid $3.60, Saved $2.89
The biggest problem I see with taking advantage of this and only shopping one store is that many of the great deals at Office Depot are on store specific items (i.e. the Office Brand Highlighters) which won't work as they're not a brand Staples will carry. But, if there are items on your list that match up with the Office Depot sales ad, you may be able to swing by Staples and save an extra 10% by purchasing it there!

Great deals–however, I set off to Office Depot very excited to restock some of my struggling classroom supplies. Limit 3 on the items that were a great deal! 3 scissors just wasn’t going to cut it (ha–pun not intended) for my classroom. 🙁
I hate that they limit it so much there Megan! I (think) Staples has a higher limit for teachers – would definitely be worth asking!
