If you're crazy busy and overwhelmed by all you have to keep up with every day, tonight's Time Saving Computer Tip is for you! While I love pinching pennies, adore saving money, and get oh-so-excited about the next deal, I'm pretty limited on the amount of time I spend hunting down grocery sales and coupon matchups before I shop.
So, I have two little tricks that I use which save me a ton of time penny-pinching, and might help you out too! I'll share my first favorite tip tonight, and stop back tomorrow for my second suggestion which also helps me out a ton.
The very first thing I do prior to grocery shopping, is look over our 10-Minute-or-Less Lists. My friend Shannon and I realized awhile ago that we could put together a list for you including most of the coupons pre-clipped ahead of time for you. (Because hunting down the deals through a huge ad and going back and forth between dozens of coupon websites made us crazy too!) Basically, before I head to the store I check out these lists, print my coupons, and then go shopping. While you won't be an Extreme Couponer using these lists alone, it will drastically reduce the time you spend clipping coupons, and save you quite a bit of money along the way.
(See how I switched over to using primarily printable coupons last year, which is still working out well for me right now as I just don't have time to spend a lot of time organizing coupons!)
If you're new to these lists, basically we include all the printable coupons in one quick list so that you can easily scan through and get the discounts you need. Included in the list is the item, sales price of the item, and link to the coupon so that you can save without spending too much time looking for deals! My favorite part of the list is that all of the Coupons.com coupons are pre-clipped for you ~ just click one button to get the complete list, then re-fresh your page once those coupons have printed to get a second set of savings.
How easy is that? 😉
