Here are a few extra Walgreens tips to make shopping a little easier for you each week!

Walgreens special Buy One Get One Free sale coupon policy

When purchasing a Buy One Get One Free item at Walgreens, you’re allowed to use two coupons, one for each item, as long as it doesn’t make both items free.

Register Rewards do expire at Walgreens

Register Rewards typically expire within two weeks of your purchase, so watch the date to make sure you don’t lose out on any of your savings.

Walgreens does allow you to “stack” coupons

You can “stack” one manufacturer coupon and one Walgreens coupon on the same item at Walgreens.

Use “Filler Items” at Walgreens when stacking coupons

We talked about this briefly last night, but it’s so important to remember that Walgreens requires you to have AS MANY ITEMS AS YOU HAVE COUPONS, so watch for “filler items”. Basically when you shop Walgreens, your store coupons, manufacturer coupons, and Register Rewards all count as a “coupon” when checking out. So, while you can stack manufacturer and store coupons as well as Register Rewards all on one item, you need to have enough items in your total purchase to account for each coupon you’re using.

Watch for clearanced candy, a stick of gum, or another item that you need to purchase anyways so that you’re allowed to use each of your coupons.
