I couldn't believe how much my family loved it!


It tastes just like zucchini bread and the kids won't even know they're getting veggies with this delicious yellow squash bread. 





Here's what you'll need to get started . . .

Yellow Squash Bread


  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of applesauce
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups shredded yellow squash


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease two loaf pans.
  3. Use an electric mixer to beat eggs until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the sugar, oil, and vanilla.
  5. Gradually mix in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  6. Fold in the squash.
  7. Spread evenly into two greased loaf pans.
  8. Bake 1 hour in preheated oven, until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
