Is China shutting down VIPKid?

VIPKid recently gave up the ability to teach Chinese children with their platform due to Chinese government regulations.  While you still have the ability to teach Chinese adults and other children around the world, the amount of hours available has decreased significantly in the past year.

How much do you get paid for VIPKid?

Since you get paid per class you teach, the amount that you make will greatly depend on your availability.  Generally, you can expect to make between $7 – $9 per class, which in turn equals out to $14 – $18 per hour.  You can also qualify for additional incentives to increase the amount of money that you make.
