Veteran Day Freebies and Deals for 2026

In honor of Veterans Day on 11/11, there are a bunch of restaurants and stores offering some fun freebies and deals to Veterans and Active Duty Military members!

Please note you’ll need to show your military ID or proof of service for most of these. You may want to give your location a call to make sure they’re participating before you go.  

Here are the Veterans Day Freebies we spotted in 2025:  

54th Street Grill – Veterans and active-duty eat free on Veterans Day. Up to $10. Dine-in only.

Another Broken Egg Cafe – On November 11, Another Broken Egg Cafe offers veterans and active-duty military a free Patriot French Toast with strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream, along with Barista House Blend Coffee. The deal is available for dine-in only, with a valid Military ID required.

Applebee’s – This Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, Applebee’s is proud to honor those who serve and have served our country. All Active Duty Military, Veterans, Reserves, and National Guard members who dine restaurant will receive a complimentary full-size entrée from an exclusive Veterans Day menu as a heartfelt thank-you for their service.

Aroma Joe’s Coffee – In honor of Veterans Day, Aroma Joe's is giving back to veterans with a FREE 24oz. hot or iced drink. Veterans can claim this offer by showing their military ID as a token of gratitude for their service.

Aspen Creek Grill – Veterans and active-duty military can get a free $15 Aspen Creek Grill meal voucher on Nov. 11 (11 a.m.–6 p.m.), redeemable for dine-in only through Dec. 24.

Bagger Dave’s – Bagger Dave's is honoring veterans on November 11 with a free Great American Cheeseburger and fries. The offer is available to active, non-active, reservists, and retired military personnel who show their military ID. This deal is for dine-in only at all Bagger Dave's locations.

Bandana’s BBQ – Veterans and active-duty military members get a free pulled pork sandwich with a choice of one side on November 11 with a military ID or proof of service. Dine in only.

Bar Louie – On November 10–11, 2025, Bar Louie gives active and retired military and veterans a free dine-in burger with a valid ID, excluding the Big Louie.

Beef ‘O’Brady’s – On November 11, Beef ‘O' Brady's will offer a free BYO Burger and fries to veterans and active-duty military members at participating locations. The offer is not valid with any other promotions and does not include tax, alcohol, or gratuity.

BIBIBOP Asian Grill – BIBIBOP Asian Grill is offering a free bowl to all veterans and active-duty military. Military ID required, in-store only.

Biggby Coffee – Veterans get any 16-ounce beverage for just $1.99 on November 11.

Big Daddy’s Burger Bar – Veterans and active-duty military get a free 5-oz. BD’s All American Burger with cheese and a choice of side on November 11. Offer available with a valid military ID from 11 am to 3 pm.

Bill Gray’s – On November 11, veterans get a free World's Greatest Cheeseburger, Regular Fries, and Soda.

Biscuit Belly – On November 11, active-duty and retired military dining in at BJ’s with a valid military ID will receive a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie. And from November 12 through December 31, guests with a valid military ID who dine in and purchase an entrée will receive a free Appetizer Bounce Back to enjoy on a future visit.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse – On November 11, active-duty and retired military dining in at BJ’s with a valid military ID will receive a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie. And from November 12 through December 31, guests with a valid military ID who dine in and purchase an entrée will receive a free Appetizer Bounce Back to enjoy on a future visit.

Black Angus Steakhouse – Black Angus Steakhouse provides a free 6-oz Top Sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli seasoned with garlic butter. The deal is valid from 11 a.m. to 3 pm on November 10.

Blaze Pizza – Blaze Pizza is honoring veterans and active-duty service members with a free one-topping pizza on November 11th.

Bob Evans – Honoring those who’ve served, Bob Evans invites veterans and active-duty troops to enjoy a complimentary meal on November 11.

Bombshells Restaurant and Bar – Bombshells Restaurant & Bar is offering free entrees on November 11 to military veterans at all locations in Texas and Colorado. Active-duty military will receive a 20% discount on all menu items. Alcoholic beverages are excluded from all discount programs.

Brass Trap – At participating locations, veterans and active military can receive a free burger and fries on November 11. Not valid with any other offer, discount, promotion, or purchase of gift cards. Tax, alcohol, and gratuity not included.

Bruegger’s Bagels – Veterans and active-duty military get a free hot or iced coffee (any size) on November 11. Guests can enjoy their complimentary coffee in-bakery, through the mobile app, or online using code FREECOFFEE. No purchase is required.

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. -Bubba Gump Shrimp offers veterans 20% off their dine-in meal for parties up to four on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025, with a valid military ID.

Bubbakoo’s Burritos – Veterans and active-duty military can get a free Taco Trio at Bubbakoo’s Burritos on Tuesday, November 11, with a valid military ID for in-restaurant dining.

Buffalo Wind Wings – Enjoy 10 free boneless wings and fries at Buffalo Wild Wings, available for dine-in or for walk-in counter orders at Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations only. All past and present armed services members (with a valid ID) can participate.

Calhoun’s – On Veterans Day, Calhoun’s offers a free meal to honor those who served in the Armed Forces. The offer dates and times may vary, so customers should confirm locally.

California Pizza Kitchen – On November 11, veterans and active military can enjoy a complimentary entrée and drink from California Pizza Kitchen’s Veterans Day Menu—pastas, pizzas, or salads—dine-in only with a valid military ID or uniform.

Carolina Ale House – Veterans and military members get a free half rack rib platter on November 11. Only valid at NC, FL, and TN locations. In-store only.

Carraba’s – All Veterans receive a Free appetizer or dessert on November 10 & 11.

Casey’s General Stores – All military service members can enjoy a complimentary coffee or fountain drink at any Casey’s location and a free car wash, where available, on November 11.

Cattlemens – Cattlemens is honoring all active, non-active, and retired military personnel with a complimentary Sirloin Steak Dinner on November 11, 2025. Show proof of service. If you’re unable to visit on Veterans Day, you can sign up on their website on or before November 11 to receive a Veterans Day Certificate by email on November 12. Offer not valid on takeout orders.

Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen – All veterans and active duty will receive a Free appetizer or dessert when you in on Veterans’ Day.

Chicken Salad Chick – All Veterans and Active Service Members will receive a Free meal with one side and a drink.

Chili’s Grill & Bar – All veterans & active military members can get a free meal on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025, at all participating Chili's Grill & Bar restaurants. Available in-restaurant only for select items. Please call ahead to your local Chili's if you have any questions about your Veterans Day meals.

Chipotle – On November 11, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. local time, guests who order an entrée in-restaurant and present a valid military ID will receive a second entrée for free. The promotion applies to Chipotle bowls, burritos, salads, and taco entrees.

Cici’s Pizza – Cicis Pizza invites Veterans and Active-Duty Military members to enjoy a free meal on November 11.

Circle K – On November 11, veterans get one free medium hot or iced coffee. The one-day-only offer is available at participating U.S. locations, and customers can redeem theirs by showing a valid military ID at purchase.

Claim Jumper – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a complimentary meal from the Veterans Day menu at Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar, dine-in only with valid proof of service.

Connors Steak & Seafood – Connors Steak & Seafood is offering all military veterans 50% off a lunch or dinner entrée on November 11 at all locations nationwide.

Cotton Patch Cafe – On November 11, active and retired military can enjoy a free regular Chicken Fried Steak or Chicken Fried Chicken entrée at Cotton Patch Cafe with a valid military ID.

Cracker Barrel – On November 11, veterans and active-duty service members with a valid ID get a free Sunrise Pancake Special.

Dave & Buster’s – Veterans get a free entree (up to $20) and a free $10 Power Card with a valid veterans ID card on November 11.

Denny’s – Veterans and active-duty military personnel receive a free Original Grand Slam on November 11 from 5 am to 12 pm. Must show a valid Military ID or DD214.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military personnel are invited to enjoy a free Pulled Pork Sandwich at all Dickey’s Barbecue Pit locations nationwide. The offer is available for dine-in or carryout with a valid military ID, limited to one per guest for the day.

Dunkin’ Donuts – For Veterans Day 2025, Dunkin' is offering a free donut to all veterans and active-duty military members on November 11th. To receive the offer, you must show proof of service, such as a military ID, at participating locations.

Einstein Bros. Bagels – Veterans and active-duty military get a free hot or iced coffee (any size) on November 11. Guests can enjoy their complimentary coffee in-bakery, through the mobile app, or online using code FREECOFFEE. No purchase is required.

Famous Dave’s – Veterans get a free Georgia Chopped Pork Sandwich Lunch with a choice of side on November 11. If ordering online, guests can use code VETERAN25 at checkout.

Farmer Boys – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military personnel get a $4 Big Cheese Burger, available all day at participating locations. To redeem, guests need to show valid proof of service and have or download the Very Important Farmer (VIF) App.

Fazoli’s – Get a free Spaghetti with Marinara or Meat Sauce when dining in on November 11 with code VET25. Must present a valid Military ID or wear a military uniform.

Firehouse Subs – On November 11, active-duty military personnel and veterans can enjoy any size sub and receive a second sub for free with a valid military ID.

Food City – Veterans and Active Military can enjoy a FREE meal from their deli bar. It includes an entree, 2 sides, a 21 oz, a fountain drink, and a roll.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers – Veterans and active military personnel who visit on November 11 will receive a free Freddy’s Combo meal card. No purchase is necessary to receive this special offer. Cards may be redeemed through December 31, 2025.

Friendly’s – Veterans get a free burger and a beverage on November 11. Available in-restaurant only. Must show military ID or honorable discharge document to receive the offer.

Gold Star Chili – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary meal of their choice (up to $12 off their order with proof of service). For dine-in, carry out, or drive-thru.

Golden Corral – Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night on November 11 from 4 pm to close. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.

Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard – Veterans and active-duty military get a free Deluxe Cheeseburger Combo on November 11. Dine-in only. Not available for online ordering or through third-party delivery apps. Must provide proof of service.

Granite City Food & Brewery – Military personnel can enjoy a free entrée from the specialty Veterans Day lunch menu on November 11 from 11 am to 4 pm. Includes choice of N/A beverage. Available for Dine-In, To Go, and Online Ordering. Not valid for delivery. If ordering online, guests can use code VETERANS25 to redeem this offer.

Great Clips – On Tuesday, November 11, veterans and active service members can visit any Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card to use at a later date. Non-military customers who get a haircut at Great Clips on Veterans Day will also receive a free haircut card that they can use to pay-it-forward to an active service member or veteran in their life as a token of thanks and appreciation. The cards can be redeemed through December 5, 2025.

Hard Rock Cafe – Celebrate Veterans Day at Hard Rock Cafe on November 11 with a free Classic Smash Burger for active and retired military, and apply the 15% military discount to other menu items.

Hacienda Mexican Restaurant – Veterans get a free Large Wet Burrito on November 11 for Dine-in or carryout. Proof required.

Hof’s Hut – On November 11, active-duty military personnel and veterans are invited to enjoy a complimentary meal and receive a $10 “Thank You” Bonus Card.

Hoss’s Steak & Sea House – On November 11, veterans receive a free Soup, Salad, Bread, Nacho & Dessert Bar, and an Iced Tea. Dine-in only. After dining, veterans will receive a $10 off $40 voucher to be used on their next visit. Available while supplies last. Voucher expires 11/30/25.

Huey Magoo’s – Veterans and active-duty military receive a free 3-Piece Tender Meal with the purchase of a beverage on November 11. Must show Military or Veteran ID or 00-214 form to redeem.

Hurricane Grill & Wings – Enjoy a complimentary entree on November 11 from the following menu: 10 Bone-In Wings, Beer-Battered Fish & Chips, Steakburger, Chicken Caesar Salad, Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken BLT Tacos. Veterans and active-duty military must present a military ID or wear a military uniform.

IHOP – IHOP, the famous breakfast and dining chain, offers a treat to veterans and active-duty military this Veterans Day. With a valid military ID or proof of service, they can enjoy free Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes. This offer is available at participating locations for dine-in only, one per guest.

In-N-Out Burger – On November 11, veterans, active-duty military, reserves, and National Guard receive a complimentary meal, including any burger, fries, and beverage on In-N-Out Burger’s menu. Present proof of military service.

J Christopher’s – Veterans dine free at J. Christopher's on Nov. 11th with a valid ID.

King’s Family Restaurant – On November 11, veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy a complimentary meal from the Veterans Day menu at King's Family Restaurant, dine-in only with valid proof of service.

Kona Grill – On November 11, veterans and active duty military will receive a complimentary entrée up to $49. Military ID for verification is required.

Krispy Kreme – Veterans and active-duty military personnel can get a free small hot or iced coffee and a free doughnut of their choice on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11. The deal is good in shops and at the drive-thru, no other purchase necessary (limit one per guest).

Lazy Dog Restaurants – Active-duty military, discharged, retired, or reserve, get a free Fireside Favorite on November 11.

Little Caesars – On November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., veterans and active military can enjoy a complimentary Lunch Combo, which includes four slices of Little Caesars' signature Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi beverage.

Logan’s Roadhouse – This Veterans Day, our military eats free on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 11 am – 3 pm at Logan’s. Active-duty military and veterans enjoy one free meal from our Veterans Day menu with proof of service.

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que – Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que is honoring veterans with a free personal-sized meal and a $10 bonus card for future use. Choices include a pulled pork sandwich or southern fried chicken with a side, a barbecue chicken salad, or a pulled pork plate with a side. This deal is available on November 10th and 11th for dine-in or takeout, but not for online orders.

Outback Steakhouse – Outback is offering a free Aussie 3-Course Meal with a valid military ID when dining in on November 10 and 11 (select entrées only). All military veterans and servicemembers, police, firefighters, first responders, nurses, doctors, and medical staff with 10% off* their entire check all day, every day.

Main Event – On November 11, active-duty military and veterans get a free double cheeseburger with fries and 30 minutes of game play with ID.

Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant – Veterans get 50% off their entree on November 11 at participating locations.

Marzoni’s Brick Oven & Brewing Co. – Veterans receive a free 12-oz draft beer or soda on November 11. One drink per Veteran. Must be 21 or older to receive the draft beer. Proof of service required.

Max & Erma’s – Veterans and active-duty military get a free cheeseburger on November 11 at participating locations. Show proof of military service.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants – Active-duty military, veterans, National Guard, Gold Star Parents, and Gold Star Spouses can enjoy a select half-priced entrée on November 9. Dine-in only. Must show a valid ID. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Melting Pot – On November 11, veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy a complimentary 4-course meal at Melting Pot with the purchase of another 4-course meal.

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt – On Veterans Day, veterans and active-duty service members can enjoy their first 6 oz free at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt by showing military ID or wearing a uniform.

Mission BBQ – On Veterans Day, Mission BBQ offers veterans a free sandwich and features a live National Anthem at noon, proudly giving back to those who served.

Native Grill & Wings – Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from the following choices: a ½ LB Stripper Combo, ½ LB Boneless Combo, Native Chicken Sandwich with fries or #MyNative Burger with fries on November 11. Veterans and active-duty military must present a military ID or wear a military uniform.

Nintety Nine Restaurant & Pub – On November 11, from opening until 4 p.m., veterans and active-duty military members who present a valid military ID will receive a free lunch entrée from the Veterans Day Menu with an adult entrée purchase.

O’Charley’s – O’Charley’s will offer a free entrée to all veterans and active-duty military with a valid ID from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both November 10 and 11. Guests dining in can choose any entrée from the Daily Dinner Deals Menu.

Olive Garden – Veterans and active-duty servicemembers who dine in at Olive Garden receive a complimentary entree from a special menu. A valid military ID is required.

Outback Steakhouse – Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Aussie 3-course meal. It is a dine-in only promotion on November 10 and November 11. Outback offers a year-round 10% Heroes Discount to service members, police officers, firefighters, and first responders.

Piada Italian Street Food – On November 11, active-duty service members and veterans are invited to enjoy a free entrée. Guests can receive any regular-sized chef menu entrée with protein by presenting a valid military ID and mentioning the offer at checkout.

Pilot Flying J – Veterans and active service members will receive a complimentary meal at its station on November 11 at participating Pilot, Flying J, and One9 Fuel locations.

Playa Bowls – Playa Bowls is offering free bowls for all veterans, active duty, and retired military personnel with a valid ID on November 11, at participating locations nationwide.

Pollo Campero – Any guest who visits Pollo Campero in uniform or presents a military ID can receive a discount on one individual meal to celebrate Veterans Day. Offer only available in store on November 11th.

Polly’s Pies – Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free slice of pie on November 10 and 11 — no purchase required.

Publix – This Veterans Day, all veterans and active military personnel receive a discount of 10% on groceries. Only valid on Veterans Day, November 11, 2025.

Red Lobster – This Veteran’s Day. Veterans and active service members will receive a Free Walt’s Favorite Shrimp & Chips with proof of service.

Red Robin – Veterans and active-duty military guests can enjoy a complimentary Red's Big Tavern Burger and Bottomless Side when dining in at participating restaurants on November 11.

Red Roof Inns – Red Roof offers active-duty military and veterans up to 15% off stays at over 700 hotels nationwide from October 13 to November 13, 2025, in honor of Veterans Day.

Rock’s & Brews – On November 11, Rock & Brews honors veterans, active-duty military, and first responders with a complimentary Pulled Pork Sandwich or Strawberry Fields Salad for dine-in with a valid ID.

Rubio’s – On November 10 and 11, buy one entrée, get one free for veterans using code VETS25. Valid in-store or online with military ID.

Ruby Tuesday – Ruby Tuesday is offering a free Garden Bar Entrée or Free Garden Bar Add-On on November 11, to veterans (retired and active-duty military with valid ID).

Smashburger – Veterans and active military members can grab a free All-American Single or Double Burger at Smashburger! Note that this offer is valid in-store only.

Shake Shack – Active Duty and Veterans will receive a FREE Big Shack on November 11. Show up with a military ID or proof of service, and it’s on the house.

Sheetz – On November 11, Sheetz invites all veterans and active duty military personnel to enjoy a free half-turkey sub and a regular-size fountain drink at any of Sheetz’s 800+ store locations. The offer includes extras & add-ons to the sub. Sheetz will also provide a free car wash to veterans and active duty military. This offer only applies to the $9 car wash option and is only available at Sheetz stores that have a car wash. Military ID or proof of service must be presented to qualify.

Shoe Perks – Military Members and their families receive a 15% discount this Veterans Day.

Shoney’s – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military can enjoy The Best Breakfast in Town via its freshly prepared Legendary Breakfast Bar for free at participating restaurants. Proof of U.S. military service is required. Dine-in only.

Sizzler – On November 11, participating Sizzler locations will be offering a free lunch to any active-duty military or veteran until 4 pm. Choose between a free Half Dozen Crispy Shrimp, Malibu Chicken, or 6oz Tri-Tip Steak entree–with a free beverage included. All Sizzler locations–excluding those in Utah, Idaho, and Puerto Rico–will be participating in this promotion.

Smokey Bones – Smokey Bones is offering a free entree to all veterans and active-duty military: Bacon Cheeseburger, Pulled Pork Sandwich, or Chicken Tender Platter with one regular side on November 11 when dining in with a valid military ID. It cannot be combined with the military discount.

Smoothie King – On November 11, 2025, active-duty military and veterans can get a free 20-oz smoothie at participating Smoothie King locations between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.. The offer is no purchase necessary and includes a choice of three patriotic-themed smoothies: Strawberry X-Treme, Slim-N-Trim Vanilla, or Blueberry Heaven.

Sonny’s BBQ – Get a free Pork Big Deal on Veterans Day. Valid at all locations with a military ID or through ID.me.

Starbucks – Starbucks is honoring those who have served with a free tall (12-ounce) brewed coffee (hot or iced) for veterans, military service members, and military spouses at participating U.S. stores and licensed locations on November 11.

STK Steakhouse – On November 11, veterans and active-duty military personnel receive a complimentary entrée up to $69. Show your military ID or proof of service to your server.

Target – Through 11/11, military personnel can score a 10% off TWO separate purchases coupon, valid in-store or online! This offer is available for active duty military, veterans, and their immediate family members (spouse and dependent children).

Texas Roadhouse – Veterans and military members can get a free Texas Roadhouse meal voucher on November 11, 2025, redeemable in-restaurant or for carry-out through May 30, 2026.

TGI Fridays – On Veterans Day 2025, TGI Fridays is offering a complimentary meal to veterans and active military personnel at participating U.S. locations from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf – The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf offers military families a free drink this Veterans Day, plus a $5 coupon when you purchase a $25 gift card.

The Greene Turtle – On November 11, The Greene Turtle invites veterans with a valid ID to enjoy a free dine-in meal (value up to $15) at participating locations.

Wendy’s – This Veterans Day, Wendy’s salutes those who served or are currently serving in the U.S. military with a free Breakfast Combo, no purchase required, during breakfast hours on November 11. Visit participating Wendy’s locations on November 11 during breakfast hours and receive a free breakfast combo by notifying the crew member at the register or showing your VetRewards Card.

White Castle – Veterans and active-duty military get a free individual combo meal or a breakfast combo meal when dining at a participating restaurant on November 11.

Wienerschnitzel – On November 11, all veterans and active-duty military are invited to enjoy a free Original Chili Dog, Small Fries, and Small Soda at participating Wienerschnitzel locations nationwide, available all day with a valid military ID or proof of service.
