Valentine’s Day Caprese Appetizer

 Caprese Appetizer for Valentine’s Day!

The plan includes Caprese skewers, but we think this Heart Caprese that would be a fun twist.  This recipe is so simple and makes everything just a little more special! It’s such an easy way to add that extra sprinkle of love to your dinner table.

Ingredients:

• Fresh Mozzarella (pre-sliced)
• Tomatoes
• Fresh Basil Leaves
• Balsamic Glaze
• Heart Cookie Cutter
• Olive Oil
• Salt and Pepper to taste

This is the easiest recipe; no cooking required!

First, cut your tomatoes into think slices, and set on your serving tray, and place a whole basil leaf on top.

Next, you’ll cut your mozzarella into hearts with your cookie cutter. Did you know you could buy fresh mozzarella that is pre-sliced? It makes this appetizer come together in no time! Add your cute little cheese hearts to the tomatoes and basil.

Drizzle with a little bit of olive oil and then drizzle with balsamic glaze.  Sprinkle with pinch of salt & pepper.

This recipe is so easy and so tasty! It was definitely love at first bite!
