Y'all I am IN LOVE with these walking shorts from Amazon! They have a pocket that easily fits my phone when walking, they wash really well (I’ve washed mine at least 50 times in the last year!) come in oodles of colors, and have sizes from X-Small – 3XL. But most importantly, they just feel great when walking!
They fit a little on the small size (I’m 5’7″ and 145 pounds, wearing a size large in the 2.5″.) Because I’d prefer them be a little on the longer side I’d definitely size up, but if you’re looking for a great pair of shorts to walk in all summer long, these are the ones! (Psst, my tank top is this one I've had for probably 4 years and love)
Here are a few more of the items I LOVE and wear probably 5-7 days a week for working out! I honestly only have 2 “shorts-days” work-out outfits and 2 “leggings-days” work-out outfits because it's easier for me to keep track of just a few things I love and wash them all week long!Â
The leggings outfits are for the gym, my shorts outfits are for walking int he neighborhood. I like keeping it real simple around here. 🙂

1 of these pair of Athleta shorts – I've worn the same pair for 4 years and they have held up perfectly (the pockets are perfect and length is great!)
2 of these pairs of leggings, I run a load of laundry every other day, so having two pairs works for me!
(These are similar and way less expensive on Amazon, but I've worn the SAME pair of 2 leggings now 5 days a week for 4 years. It's worth it to me to just keep the same pair and never have to shop again!)
(I've tried these Amazon dupes pictured above and they're GOOD but not quite as supportive. They're IDENTICAL in the way they look but the Lululemon ones just hold things in place a little more!)
For more things I love to use when walking and running head on over here, but hopefully this gets you motivated to get out and about this spring! It is SO worth it to have the right clothes you truly love, and having fewer of the right things has been worth it to me more than having lots of the wrong things.
Hop up, head to your closet, throw your favorite pair of workout clothes on and get moving. You can do this and you are worth it. I'm cheering for you today!
