The Pink Stuff Cleaning Paste Review

We wanted to test it out to see if it was worth the hype….

My friend Staci tried it out, and she had this to say:

(By the way – have you met Staci? She’s our PPP Customer Happiness specialist –  she helps with questions about PPP Products, sends out happy mail to readers for giveaways and special occasions, and prays for each and every one of your prayer requests. We love her!)

Staci here!  It’s been a couple years since I cleaned my oven door and it was overdue… especially since my hubby took up baking as his COVID hobby and he is NOT very tidy about it!  (I jokingly call him pigpen 😉 )

There was gunk splattered everywhere that was baked on – grease and who knows what else…

So I figured it’d be the perfect time to try out the Pink Stuff I keep hearing about.

The paste can be a little on the dry side, so I used a damp rag and scooped it out of the tub, then wiping in circular motions I applied to my oven door.

I covered the whole door and then rinsed out the rag and went back over it to wipe off all the paste.  Then to finish I buffed it with a clean dry cloth.

TA DA!

The result?  Sparkling clean!  I was impressed and I give The Pink Stuff two thumbs up!

It looked so good – I was determined to take it a step further and take apart the oven door to clean inside as well, so I could get rid of the pesky little spots I can see inside. (See instructions further below for that)

Our Overall Opinion:

  • The Pink Stuff Cleaning Paste worked VERY well – no scrub brush or scrubby sponge needed – it got off years of baked-on gunk with just a soft, damp rag.

What have you cleaned your house using The Pink Stuff? Did you find that it worked extra well for any particular chores around the home? We’d love to hear from you!

How to Clean Inside Your Oven Door:

Going to admit…this one can be intimidating!  Sometimes it goes super simply, and then other times we have issues with the door going back on and it takes a bit, which of course makes the husband cranky… But, here you go!

1. Open the door all the way, and there are locking latches on the side. Release those to unlock the door.
2. Next, carefully lift and pull the door up and out at the same time, and you will feel it moving towards you.
3. Now lay the door down on your counter, but a helpful hint is to put a towel or something under it so you do not scratch the counter or the glass door.
4. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws on both sides at the top of the door. You can undo the bottom ones, but we have learned our lesson on that and find it super hard to put them back together, so we just open the top.
5. Now pry the doors apart with someone holding it open so the other person can clean.  We used a vacuum to get the crumbs that were down at the bottom. Then use Windex to clean both sides (the oven side and the glass cover side)
6. Put the two pieces back together and replace the screws.
7. Now the tricky part, line the door back up while dropping down and pushing in at the same time. You should hear it go back together.  Then lock those latches back into place.

This method won’t work for EVERY oven – but it should help you figure out how to get your door off and apart to clean inside.  Let me know any tips you have –  I love hearing helpful cleaning hacks!
