Have you heard of Temu? It's an online marketplace that offers competitively priced products in multiple categories (similar to Amazon, but at even lower prices!). From fashion to jewelry, kitchenware to pet supplies, Temu offers oodles of top-quality products at ultra-affordable prices!
I've heard SO much about Temu recently on social media, but have been a little hesitant to order from the site as I wasn't very familiar with it. I decided to take the plunge and order a few products from different sections on their site to test out the quality…and overall I was pretty impressed! 🙂
Is Temu Legit?
YES! What I love about Temu is that they offer TONS of different products at incredibly low prices. Plus, they also offer FREE shipping and FREE 90 days returns ~ love that!

TIP – Note that NOT all items on Temu are a great buy or fabulous quality. The trick to getting the best bang for your buck is to read the customer reviews for each product you're interested in, and only buying items that have satisfied customers.
(Note that it took about a week for my items to arrive at my doorstep)

I’m new to Temu, but noticed most of the items I’ve purchased were much cheaper than what’s offered on Amazon. And even though you don’t get 2 day shipping, like you do with Prime, it’s worth the wait. Everything I’ve ordered came in within a week, not like Wish where you may be waiting months for an order to arrive. The quality of the majority of products I’ve purchased was much better than I expected. Few were of cheaper quality, but that’s not an issue that’s exclusive to Temu. I’ve purchased items from Dollar Tree or other big box stores and had them break within a week. Of course, I would love to buy U.S. or locally made products, but unfortunately my budget doesn’t exactly allow for that at the moment. Besides it isn’t easy to even find products made in the U.S. with all parts also made in the U.S. My home, & body, would be just about completely bare & I’d have no vehicle if I had to depend on only products solely produced in the U.S. with only U.S. made/sourced parts. Blame the greed of U.S. companies for that.
I second EVERYTHING you said, I’ve done all of that as well… and had a little chuckle about your wish comment, as it was the same description I gave my son the other day when I was telling him about Temu.
Good grief! Reading some of the comments makes me sad that politics is seeping into this post. I shop at Temu and I like it! I have found so many cute garden decorations, clothing , and other things it is amazing! Like this post said you need to look closely at the reviews and the pictures of the products. I haven’t had to return anything and if you watch the size charts you should be fine. I like to see but the quality and prices make buying things here less expensive than making them myself.
I love Temu. Although I only recently discovered them, I’m always finding super affordable clothes both for in and out of the house. The return policy is amazing, just got credit back after returning about 8 items that either didn’t fit well or I changed my mind on. I’m addicted to Temu!

All of these comments are cracking me up. Of course nobody wants to support child labor. Come on though, you name it and everything comes from China. Even when you support local, often times the boutiques are buying from China, unless they are specifically marketed at handmade. Walmart=China. Amazon=China. Target=China. All the big box stores purchase from China and then sell it to us. Many of us are just hoping to skip the middle man here and save. I sure wish we did live in a world where everything was made in the USA, but it just isn’t.
To all of the people complaining about forced labor, (let me first say that I don’t condone it…BUT…), I can almost guarantee that I could search your home for less than 5 minutes and find something “Made in China” and probably done so under forced labor. The difference is that you KNOW about it with this company. Ignorance regarding the rest of your purchases doesn’t make them acceptable.
I have seen so many adds for Temu, from this post to many comments they seem to be doing a very nice job at customer service. I did not expect that. I have never purchased from them. I was almost ready to try.
However, there are some posts here that are knocking them for some serious accusations. If there is a chance that there is forced labor, spy technology in the app, and other things mentioned, I think I will pass.
I saw a post that Kim Komando says Temu gets full access to your contacts, calender,photos plus social media and texts when you download their app.
Look Temu up on Snopes. Some accusations are legit but this one is not.
I have read numerous articles about TEMU and have lots of concerns about their company. I’m honestly surprised and a little disappointed that you would review/advertise for such a controversial company.
Agree! It is Chinese based. Yes, prices seem good, but what is it really costing America when so many are doing business with them? Not just referring to revenue. Please say no to Temu!
99% of the companies in the USA have their products manufactured in China. This is just bypassing big business and getting it from the source. Say no to capitalism.

I just read about Temu. Bad company in China. What you see is not what you get. They keep all your info, and they use it against you. Dealing with Chinese made products. Would never buy there!

Also, our Temu rep reached out to us and verified that all workers at Temu are adults and they have to go through a rigorous interview process in order to work there. Once again, if Temu is not a site you wish to shop at, that’s perfectly okay! Have a great day!
I have order from them several times. There was a few shirts that I was not happy with the material. Returns are so easy, go to your order history and click the items you want to return. You can print off a return label, place back in the bag, tape shut and drop off at the post office. Credit was on my account within hours after it was scanned at the post office.
This is a quote from pcmag.com article of 5/12/23, “More concerning is the issue of forced labor. A 2022 investigation found that Temu used cotton from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region where China has detained Uyghurs in camps. And Temu (as well as Adidas, Nike, and Shein) recently received letters from a US House Committee that’s concerned they could be using forced labor from imprisoned Uyghurs.” The same article states that Temu has been stealing designs from small businesses, and violates many copyrights. I know it’s hard to research all of this stuff, but now that I know, I will not purchase from Temu (or adidas, Nike, or Shein).
Temu is a platform for the sellers. Temu does not control the manufacturing of each seller’s products. The website headquarters is in Boston. Yes, the sellers are in China, but there are literally thousands of sellers on the platform.
The same article from PCMag states “Temu might say on its site that it was founded in Boston, but it’s owned by PDD Holdings, which has money to burn and just moved its official headquarters from China to Ireland so it can keep doing business even if US scrutiny of China-based apps.” Another section of the article deals with theft “What designs do Temu sellers steal? Too many to list but one example is this mouthful of a product description: Gorgeous Vintage Dragonfly Pendant Necklace – Perfect Bohemian Jewelry for Women’s Holidays. The owner of the online shop Godly Nature’s Jewelry took to TikTok to complain that Temu stole her Champagne Dragonfly Sunflower Necklace design and even her photos.”
I prefer not to shop with Temu for all of the above reasons, but mostly due to sellers using forced labor.

I’ve downloaded the app and ordered three times so far for my husband and I. I love everything I’ve got. Some of the same stuff was on Amazon but cheaper here. I got a wide variety of stuff that I’d use for vacationing and lounging, even household things and for traveling. It’s not a scam and it’s based in NY. They are competing with AliExpress and Shein. You can compare prices of the same items. They are just really unique in their marketing and offering great bonuses if you can get your friends to try it. I love the price adjustment feature and quick shipping. The low prices are unbelievable. Just know the fabric and quality is not high end but it’s great for short term use or when you’re losing inches and in between sizes and don’t want to spend a lot. The swim suits and cover ups and lingerie are the best!

Love Temu – don’t forget to check under your order. If price goes down on any item they will credit you the price difference for up to 30 days. Or if shipping is delayed past expected dates $5 credit.

You don’t have to keep checking the prices. If you click on the “price adjustment ” button in your order, it will tell you which items have gone down in price since you purchased. It will tell you how much credit you would get on each item as well. They give you the credit in your Temu account to use on a future order. I would wait a couple weeks at least before checking it though, as they only allow you to claim a price adjustment once for the entire order. So everything that it shows went down in price, they will credit you for ALL those items at one time, but they only do it once PER ORDER per item. I hope this helps.

Not so. Sorry but I have received multiple price adjustments on each order at different times, sometimes even multiple adjustments on the same item within the 30 day time limit.
You actually don’t have to remember to check the prices all you have to do is click on the package you ordered and go to price adjustment and they will tell you how much you could get back at that time on your package for the price adjustment. Makes it easy but just keep in mind you have 30 days from the purchase date of your items to collect it and you can only collect it one time.

I have a friend whose credit card was hacked and she only used that card with Temu. So please be careful! The deals look great but I’m a bit apprehensive!

I only use PayPal for online orders and I don’t believe it can be hacked, that’s the point. My cc, Capital one also has a virtual card for your real card, which you can use to avoid disclosing your actual CC # for online purchases.Apple Pay also has another level of encryption protection. I don’t feel vulnerable about my cc #, but I do wonder about the APP… however I do know having access to your info is not unique to TEMU. Many apps are able to do this. I’m old enough to remember growing up in the 50’s everything had a sticker saying “ made in Japan” and it was the same lower quality stuff. I do order frequently from them and my only complaint that the pop up bouquet greeting cards get bent because they ship in an orange BAG most of tine-no box
I have been buying from Temu for 6+ months and have been very pleased! As long as you read the information about each item as some home and garden decor can be smaller than the picture looks then you won’t be disappointed. Same thing with clothing sizes, measurements come up for each size and I have found them to run true. It’s especially great for buying my grandkids clothes without breaking the bank! I feel the same way I have been shopping with them for 6 Plus months and I have not had a problem with anything about their app. All you have to do is read pay attention to what you are interested in. If you read the descriptions there’s usually measurements so that you’re not disappointed because the sizes and the pictures are not always the sizes that they are offering. Usually everything has a size guide as well when it comes to clothing and shoes some things are not sized for the US so you need to pay attention to where they are sized at because different area size things differently than the way we size things in the US. I personally had two items show up broken due to shipping which could happen to anybody I contacted them through the app and they immediately gave me credit for the items within like 3 minutes you have the option of getting your original payment credited if you want to but that can take a little longer but usually not as long as they say it does on there as I’ve done both. I continue to shop with the app I don’t know all of the political stuff or anything of that sort behind it and most likely won’t follow any of that because of the simple fact that I personally am in poverty and can barely afford my day to day stuff so it’s nice to be able to afford something a little special from time to time. Sorry if that makes me a terrible person but I’ve been in poverty all my life and haven’t been able to get any realistic help.

Hiya! I’ve tried to shop with Temu without the app. But I’ve not been able to do so. Every time I click on an item, instead of the item popping up, I get prompted to download their app. Message says something like “download our app to shop with TEMU”. So I thought the app was mandatory to order with them.
I have read that as well.

My sister and I have bought many things from TEMU and have never been disappointed. We did have to return a couple items because we got the wrong size but they were absolutely wonderful about returns. They handled everything so quickly no questions asked.

They are real. I recd one when I bought my bogg bag. I highly recommend them. I’m highly addicted. I even got my boyfriend to start ordering.

I shop with TEMU all of the time. I’ve never had any problems at all with any items I’ve ordered or with shipping time. I will continue to order from them as a matter of fact I just received an order and already have another ready to place. Best place to shop I’m my opinion!

YES I’ve shopped TEMU, I’m addicted. I’m disabled and depend on my son to take me shopping which is not always convenient for him so I do a lot of online shopping. I must limit my orders and build up the coupons & special discounts from TEMU.

The craft supplies are awesome and so inexpensive. The cutting dies cut perfectly. I was skeptical at first but I haven’t been disappointed yet. The shirts I just rcvd ran a little big but I ordered up. They were mostly polyester.
