Target’s Holiday Price Match Policy (2025)
Target has announced their Holiday price match guarantee will be in effect again for 2025 from November 1, 2025 to December 24, 2025. Price adjustments will only apply to items found cheaper at Target.com or Target stores.
How It Works:
- Check your Target order history during the holiday window
- If prices drop, reach out via chat, phone, or in-store
- Request the adjustment and get refunded the difference
Can You Still Price Match on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
It’s a gray area. Officially, these days aren’t excluded — but many stores may refuse price matching on major shopping holidays. We recommend shopping early and keeping a close eye on pricing fluctuations.
Holiday Season Price Match Exclusions:
- No matches on third-party or Target Plus items
- No adjustments on gift card promotions
- No clearance, refurbished, or flash deals
- Policy not valid in Alaska or Hawaii

Target Price Matching Policy
Heads up, Target shoppers! Target has eliminated it's price match policy with outside retailers as of 7/28/25. While you used to be able to price match competitors like Walmart and Amazon, you are no longer able to do this. Target will only price match Target.com or prices from its own in-store locations. So if you spot a better deal at a competitor? Unfortunately, you’re out of luck.
