DIY Wooden Letter Blocks Decor – Perfect for any room!
Looking for an easy craft this weekend?Â
Here you go. 😉
Supplies needed for these wooden blocks:
- Wood blocks (I used a whittler's kit from Michael's similar to this one)
- Mod Podge
- Scrapbook paper
- die cut letters (I used my silhouette cameo to cut these, but you could easily use stickers or a Cricut as well)
To make these, choose two phrases with the same number of letters, cut your paper to the size of the wood blocks, and use mod podge to glue them on.
Then add the lettering ~ either die cut words with mod podge or you can just use stickers too.
That's all you have to do!
You're done.
A simple little way to fluff things up, and just brighten up your home a bit. 🙂
(And a quick note on “being present” ~ eek.)
I struggle with this one so much that I've made it kind of my mantra recently. My goal is to get what I absolutely must do done on PPP work by the afternoon, and then focus on my kids and hubby in the afternoons/evenings. If you're like me it's so easy to get caught up online, but maybe this will be some encouragement for you to take time and be present too today!
Try some of those fun and simple summer crafts for my kids with my hubby. Thanks so much for this great tips.
Wow! It’s a great idea. As a woodworker, Really I appreciate your job.
