If you're looking to keep an eye on your home or pets without breaking the bank, you may want to try a Reolink E1 Indoor Security camera!
Reolink Camera Review
Looking for an affordable indoor home security camera that's easy to set up and works great?? Mary here! I recently tried a couple Reolink indoor cameras so I could keep a better eye on my home and dog while I was away – and so far I am really impressed with these little cameras!
The best part? I was able to set them up in under 10 minutes! I pulled the cameras out of the box, plugged in the power supply, downloaded the Reolink app, and followed the on-screen instructions.
It was easy peasy!
Using the Reolink app was a breeze too! I was able to configure the detection zones, motion detection, notifications, alarms, recording, schedules, and more. The app also lets me view live feeds, activate/deactivate night vision, alter pan, and even have a conversation with someone or speak to my pets using the two-way microphone.
On the app, I was also able to sign up for the free Cloud Storage!
Speaking of the Cloud Storage, the free basic cloud storage package offers a 7-day history, supports one camera, and 1GB of cloud storage. You can access the Cloud in the mobile app and view/download your videos. You can also sign up for other monthly plans for as little as $3.49/month or $34.99/year.
Let's get into the techy details of each camera!
E1 Zoom Security Camera
With the E1 Zoom, you can catch a glimpse of your house in Super HD or zoom in to see the details of what you care, without image impairment. This camera also performs great at night, with 10pcs IR LEDs that cover up to 40ft in low-light conditions. Check out the night-time image down below!
Here are a few features of the E1 Zoom:
- 5MP Super HD resolution
- 355° Pan & 50° Tilt & 3X Optical Zoom
- 48° – 98° Wide Viewing Angle
- Motion Detection
- Two-Way Audio
- 40ft Brilliant Night Vision
- 2.4/5 GHz Dual-Band WiFi
- SD card support (Max 128G)
As you can see, this camera still picked up a lot of the background when I was standing close to the camera – even in low lighting conditions. (Scroll down to compare it with the E1 Pro down below!)

E1 Pro Security Camera
The E1 Pro camera is loaded with smart features – it can do a ton of things like rotate at your disposal to reach more areas or even send you customized motion alerts on your mobile device.
(The camera quality is pretty great, too!)
Here are a few features of the E1 Pro:
- 4MP Super HD resolution
- 355° Pan & 50° Tilt
- 82° Wide Viewing Angle
- Motion Detection
- Two-Way Audio
- 40ft Brilliant Night Vision
- 2.4/5 GHz Dual-Band WiFi
- SD card support (Max 128G)
(This camera didn't seem to pick up as much of the background as the E1 Zoom when I was standing close to it ~ excuse the goofy smile and scary eyes! 🤣)
Where can I get the best deal on the E1 Pro?
Reolink.com – $43.22 shipped with code AW5E1PROZOOM (Reg. $59.99)
Amazon – $45.04 shipped after 15% off eCoupon (Reg. $59.99)
Overall I feel like both cameras performed pretty well and the two-way audio worked equally as well. But the camera quality was overall better on the E1 Zoom (especially at night and in low light conditions!) and the ability to zoom in on a specific area was nice.
If you're on a tighter budget but looking for a capable security camera, home surveillance, or just want an indoor security camera – either of these cameras would be great option for you! 🙂
