Favorite Kitchen Gadgets
Do you have a few favorite kitchen gadgets that you love? We sure do!Â
We have polled the PPP team and these are some of our favorite gadgets! There's SO many that it's hard to choose just a few so we've given you ALL of our favorites!
Team member Lindsay loves this measuring set. It comes with ALL the sizes you'll ever need including the odd sizes – no more guessing! These are some of our other team favorite magnetic measuring spoons, glass measuring cups and easy read measuring cups.
Laurie and Lindsay both have an 8 cup batter bowl. The lid makes it perfect to mix and store. Ashley and a lot of our PPP readers LOVE these stacking ombre color mixing bowls – they're so pretty too!
These silicone spatulas make baking a breeze! They're even great for dividing up into gifts with these spoonula spatulas, mini silicone whisks and mini tongs!
If you eat a lot of tacos in your house then you'll want to grab a set of these taco stands! Team member Bridgette loves having these available on their taco nights!
This silicone pastry mat is great to have if you do a lot of baking! Great for keeping things from sticking and clean up a breeze! Once you're done rolling out your cookies, then use these silicone baking mats in leu of parchment paper.
This pancake dispenser is great for making pancakes! Simply mix and squeeze!
Make cooking with fresh garlic easy with this mince garlic press or get your kiddos involved with this garlic chopper! Now that your garlic is minced, don't forget your 2n1 oil bottle and salt bowl!
A rotary grater helps you prep your food in no time! Great for cheese, vegetables and fruit.
Having a digital scale is SO handy to have! If you do a lot of baking or portion control then make sure you have one of these in your kitchen.
Swedish cloths are an eco way to clean your house. Team member Bethany loves using hers!
Kitchen shears are a must! It's nice having a dedicated pair for kitchen tasks.
Several of the team members love having a frother! Use it for your coffee, hot cocoa or even protein drinks.
A set of skimmers are really handy to have. They're great for canning, making your own broth or removing cooled fat that's separated.
This may be the last can opener you'll ever need to buy! Lindsay has had hers for years and it's still going strong!
Cookie Dough Scooper – this works amazing and makes the perfect shape!
Black & Decker Food Chopper – a great option if you need a chopper that doesn't require a lot of muscle to use! (We also love this Ninja Chopper – it's amazing!)
This Kid-Safe Knives Set is so fun for getting your little helpers involved in food prep. These knives actually cut food but have a plastic, serrated blade that is a bit safer for little hands. Plus, they come in fun colors and are also a great Play-Doh tool!
Wilton 3 Tier Baking Rack – I love this for cooling a huge batch of cookies all at once!

For me, it’s the various silicon hot pads that sometimes can double and triple as jar and bottle openers/grippers and as “spoon rests” in a pinch or during glamping trips. In addition, the manual food chopper with the various chopping blades and storage container has been a huge time saver and a favorite of mine; however, I do wish that it’s container was sturdier and nicer.

Great list! Here’s one to add — A meat chopper! I use this all the time. So impressed with the meat chopper – I bought one for my Friend. I got mine at DG for 3 bucks but here’s a Walmart chopper https://www.walmart.com/ip/GoodCook-Hamburger-Premium-Quality-Meat-Chopper-with-Nylon-Head-that-is-Heat-Resistant-to-400-Degrees-Fahrenheit/46807447?athbdg=L1200

I just love that little Ninja chopper! I ordered it through PPP and it’s my favorite. No cords, so petite and powerful! It has earned a permanent spot on my small kitchen counter!
Laurie says
Yayy ~ so glad to hear that Beth! 🙂

I love this ice cream scoop. I’ve never gotten ice cream out so easily!! Wilton Summer Ice Scoop, Multicolor https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RGFVBQY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Judy says
Could you use freezer bag stand filling the icing bag?
Laurie says
Hmm, that might work Judy! Some folks have said you can also put the bag in a drinking glass while filling it! 🙂 Thanks for the suggestion!
Tonya Langner says
I love onion goggles!! They save you eyes and makeup….truly they work!!
Anne says
Place a wet paper towel next to onion……no tears! Just learned this at 66. It works!
