WAY back in February 0f 2019 (which feels a lifetime ago now?) I stood in Barnes & Noble while waiting to pick up a kiddo from bible study.
Not really looking for anything in particular, I walked through the recipe section and noticed a few pretty recipe tins.
We had just sold out of our first round of Home Planners (which were way different than the ones we have now), and I'd really barely ever made a product in my life. I knew nothing about how people even made things that actually get in the hands of real other people, but I thought the tins were just so pretty.
As I stood there, I thought to myself “gosh, wouldn't it be just amazing if someone created a menu plan for me, put it on pretty, sturdy cards, and then just sent me the whole thing so I didn't have to stress any more about making dinner?”
I talked it over with a friend, then eventually with the PPP team, and we started to really dream big.
What if that recipe tin had dry erase-able grocery lists?
What if we organized them by type of food? Crockpot recipes? Freezer meals? Summer meals? (And a few more secret ones that are in the works and will be here in 2021 too!)
What if we made the cards really easy to follow, no huge guesswork, with simple easy meals that every family would love?
And . . . just for fun, what if we added a happy weekly dinner grace on the front of the card, reminding busy families like mine to take a moment just before dinner, soak up His grace, and be thankful a wee bit right before digging in.

We figured it out.
We made 10,000 recipe tins with slow cooker cards on our first round.
(I just knew no one would buy. In fact, I was so sure that no one would buy, that I rented out 2 large storage facilities near our house to store them while we sold them out over the next few years.)
Um, I was wrong.
We sold out of all 10,000 tins in 60 days.
Folks loved them.
Raved about the yummy food.

When will my 2021 Home Planner Ship?
The 2021 Home Planners will ship immediately. Note that our shipping facility is in Nashville, Tennessee, so the closer you are to Nashville the sooner your products should arrive. We do expect a large volume of orders over the Christmas season and especially during our sale week, so please be patient with our team as we work hard to get your products to you as quickly as possible.
Will the Passionate Penny Pincher 2021 Home Planner be available again as a PDF this year?
Yes! Order the PDF FILES ONLY right HERE.
Note: you will get the PDF files of the 2021 Home Planner as soon as you order. Printing it is EXPENSIVE (expect to pay $70+ to have it printed in color), so if you think there is ANY chance at all that you want a printed copy, I highly recommend ordering our physical planners when they launch on September 20th!
Will you be including a private Facebook group again when we order the planner or recipe cards?
Yes! If you order the planner you'll be added to our PPP Ultimate Home Checklist & Planner Private Facebook Group. If you order any of our menu plans, you'll be added to the Supper Club Private Facebook Group.

Can I order a 2021 Home Planner or other PPP product for a friend, and will they be added to the private Facebook groups?

Can I have multiple items shipped to different addresses?

Will you ever get new recipe tins in stock?

I ordered the original recipe tin but would prefer a box. Can I order the recipe card storage boxes by themselves?
We don't have any additional empty storage boxes to sell. If you absolutely love the idea of the boxes, consider gifting your current set to a friend, and ordering a fresh new set for yourself (we'd sure appreciate it over here)! 🙂
I purchased the PDF Slow Cooker files but would prefer the physical recipe cards sent to me now that they're back in stock. Can you offer me a discount?
We've struggled with this and finally decided that we just don't have the manpower (we're a small business) to provide an additional code on the new slow cooker menu boxes. We sincerely hope you feel you've received great value from your previous PDF purchase while using it these past few months. We think you'll love the cards too, but if they aren't in your budget please know that you will receive (for free) an updated slow cooker menu plan PDF with the new dessert recipes when we send them out the week of Sept 14th. if I order the pdf download of the planner, does it include EVERYTHING that is in the printed version? I LOVE the planner :o) I just don’t want to miss out on anything!
It does include everything, except the ruler and stickers and pocket! BUT, if you’re debating printing it, it is MUCH cheaper to get the printed version than the PDF – so you might want to consider that. Hope that helps! (Some folks paid $70+ to print and the quality just isn’t the same!)
Question about the journals. I know they coincide with the planner, but do they stand alone, as well? I’m thinking of getting some as Christmas gifts and one for my daughter, but these friends will not have planners.

Do you have an idea on when the keto meal pack will be available?
Hi Tammye! We have a lower cal pack coming out in January – it will include lower carb recipes but is not completely low carb (or keto). We may consider a totally keto one at some point, but we haven’t gotten there quite yet! Hope that helps (thank you for asking)!
Are all of the Bible journals the same basically?
Hi Jill! The Bible journals are a pack of 4 journals each covering a portion of the New Testament, so when you finish all 4 you’ve finished the entire New Testament. Hope that helps! 🙂

Does the slow cooker series box included in the deserts or do you need to buy both the slow cooker cards and the bonus pack of desert cards?
the new box will include desserts. the separate package is for those who ordered the slow cooker series last year (prior to desserts being offered) that way we don’t have to buy the whole set again-we just buy the desserts we really need.
I am so looking forward to the 2021 Planner. I use my 2020 planner and it has really made a big difference in my life. Looking forward to the desserts for the crockpot meals.
I ordered the crockpot meals and would love to have the dessert cards for it. I also ordered the freezer meals and would love to have a box to put them in. They didn’t come with a box. Are these items available to order on September 20th?

Maybe I missed it….but just wondering if there is a box available for the freezer meal cards that I already ordered. They came without the box just not sure if the box was backordered or just not available.
Hi Gina! We sold the original sets of freezer meals as a bundle with the freezer bag stands and hadn’t even though of the boxes at that point (we’re still figuring things out as we launch these new products!) We will however have tins available to sell that will fit two sets of cards in November – hope that helps!
For those who ordered the original tin/slow cooker cards, can you tell us what desserts are going to be on the new additional cards?
Hi Michelle! They’re all slow cooker dessert recipes (that are so yummy!) Here’s what’s included: lava cake, apple crumble, monkey bread, mug brownies, spice cake, rice puedding, chocolate chip bars, peach cobbler, creme brulee, peanut butter chocolate cake, cinnamon rolls and chocolate fondue.
