Just wanted to let you know how much I love this new feature!!! It is so helpful for those things I don’t have in my stockpile!

Hi Alicia! The best deal that I know of is to wait (if you can!) until Thanksgiving when loads of Fleishchmann’s Yeast coupons come out. It’s priced at $1.49 at Publix, and maybe $1.59 at Kroger, and if your store doubles you can get a pretty decent price. I’ve heard that if you’re buying lots of it, you can get the best price at Sam’s (depending on how much you bake!) I stocked up during a catalina sale a few years ago at Kroger, and haven’t really had to replenish my stash since!

Also, if you can use yeast for Pizza Dough, there’s a coupon on Coupons.com for $.40/1 Fleischmann’s Pizza Dough yeast – if your store doubles you should get a 3-strip for around $.65. Hope that helps!

I think I may have to find a bulk bread place. I like to bake wheat breads, rolls and pastas but I am constantly buying those little bags of flour. I have even made my own wonton wrappers. But the yeast deals coming up with definitely be handy to use. I plan on stocking up on a bunch of baking stuff in general then as my gifts to people are usually…baked goods. 🙂

        • Laurie says

I love that you’re baking so much! Sam’s really should be your best place for that much yeast, and probably flour too. Let me know if you find any great deals! (And homemade wonton wrappers? I’m so impressed!)
