Outdoor Fabric Spray Paint

Don't you hate when you're pretty patio cushions start to fade and look grayish over time? They're so expensive to replace (especially the really thick, quality ones) – but maybe you don't have to!

Well somewhat recently a new product hit the scene – outdoor fabric spray paint! Recently a reader let us know about this Rustoleum Outdoor Fabric Spray Paint that she found. She shared that she had painted her outdoor loveseat cushions and was happy with the result – it certainly looks fresh and cute!

She said she also had another can to do some touch-ups still.

This fabric spray paint claims to refresh and recolor outdoor fabrics including furniture cushions, pillows and more (not recommended umbrellas). Here's a little more info:

• Covers approximately 5.5 sq. ft. per can (So keep in mind if you have a big square cushion that might only cover 1 cushion since you have to do front, back, sides, etc…)
• Unique paint repels water while remaining softer to the touch than regular spray paint

It gets mixed reviews – but we wanted to let you know about it anyway and would LOVE to hear any feedback or experience you might have in using this interesting fabric paint option!

Color: Red
No more blotchy paint!  I read many reviews that the paint was blotchy when applied. There is an easy fix for this. After I sprayed one of my lawn cushions, I used a sponge brush to even out the paint. This method worked great. My cushions remained soft and they look vibrant again.

I wanted to love this product because initially it was working fine. I sprayed a stool top. But then I went to spray another and the nozzle was clogged and not spraying any. I rinsed with warm water & wiped down and still nothing. I have a full can still left to use so I’m disappointed and of course no returns or refunds.

Didn't work as expected.  Purchased to cover my faded outdoor cushions. Paint was extremely thin, so thin that 1 can wouldn’t even cover 1 cushion. 1st time ever being disappointed in a Rustoleum product. Amazon customer service was great in refunding my money. Wouldn’t recommend this product sadly.

Absolute garbage. Used almost an entire can to cover one cushion, looked decently covered but when it dried you could see the original fabric I was trying to cover. It's like the spray paint seeped through. Don't waste your money or time.
