Orange Glazed Salmon – Try This Grilled Salmon Recipe Today!
I know, I know, cooking seafood can be scary! I get it and I'm the first to admit that I was a wee bit scared for a long time.
However, after my husband had a heart attack (he's fine now!) I knew I needed to add salmon into our weekly rotation.
Since cooking salmon more frequently, I've found it actually isn't hard to cook at all.
In fact, this recipe is SO easy to make and ends up looking like something from a restaurant. Your family will be impressed!

How to make Orange Glazed Salmon:
You'll want to start by making the orange glaze. To do this, you'll combine the orange marmalade, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and rice vinegar.
We chose to use marmalade instead of orange juice in our marinade to give this recipe a nice bold orange flavor!
Next, spread this evenly over the top of the salmon filets.
Preheat your grill to medium heat and prepare so you don't have to worry about your salmon sticking to the grill. Prepare your grill by putting foil over the grill grates and cook the salmon over the foil.
You'll then want to grill the salmon for about 8 minutes on each side. The salmon will be done when it flakes easily with a fork.
Finally, top with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds for a beautiful presentation and some additional Asian flare!
Tips for this Orange Glazed Salmon Recipe:
One tip for cooking salmon with a marinade is that you don't want to leave it in a marinade too long. If you do, the salmon takes on the juices and will end up being watery as it cooks. We suggest only marinating your salmon for 30 minutes to an hour.
However, we don't have to worry about that with this orange glazed grilled salmon recipe!
The biggest tip I can give for ANY salmon recipe – is DO NOT OVERCOOK your salmon!
Start checking your salmon fillets for doneness after the 2nd 8 minutes of grilling (after you flip it). When the salmon will flake easily with a fork and isn't still super pink in the center it is done.
It's a really easy way to make a fancy dish at home and feel like the rockstar chef that you are!
And Look how pretty this salmon is! 🙂
